DEMON PLAYERS ANGRY
No, more, talk. No more. I don't care for emotions anymore. Mark Neeld was an 'angry' coach that apparently didn't take any crap from anyone and we know what happened there. The time has come to take a vow of silence and not say anything until we win a flag. Ok maybe a game.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Guy deserves another shot so it's good to see. Think the Blues were desperate and looking to fill their list but a lifeline is a lifeline, look what they've done with Liam Jones.

Winger, winger, chicken dinner?!
I'm still annoyed we missed out on Tom Phillips, I'm sure it would have been looked at if we were able to move T-Mac but that wasn't the case. But it shouldn't have come down to that anyway. Of course he's going to do well at the Hawks, useful players tend to go there (aside from recent years). Whereas we like the left field eye brow raiser like Tomlinson.

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
Bont is just on fire, wasting it in this game.

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Bulldogs
Nice mini comeback where we started surging and just chaosballing it forward. ANB's hard running paid off by getting to the right spots. I still struggle to see this as a forward structure that can kick winning scores though. Backline brilliant, May and Lever holding everything together. Not the biggest Tomlinson fan but he's having a go.

Is Gawn the best player we have ever had?
I think by the end of his career he will easily be in our top 10 of all time. Everything from there on is just too subjective

Ryan Larkin departs Melbourne.
All the best to Ryan. 16 years is a fair time and he would have overseen plenty of strategic shifts within our marketing plan so pinning one or two negative things to him probably doesn't paint the whole picture. Good get for the Dons.

Also didn't get to see today but just caught up on the 5 min highlights and have been well filled in here. Thanks everyone. T-mac looks a different person.

Vale Murray Weideman
Wanted to hate him after reading and hearing the stories of the 58 grand final but he was just such a lad. Always loved his story telling and just an all round good guy of the game. R.I.P

Is there anything more MFC than making you go to an expensive car dealership to collect your scarf? :p

Max to Full Forward
If this was a thing then North would have rotated Mckernan and whoever their other ruckman was at FF in the 90s every game.

What is your "Go To" Dees Game Highlights Video
I remember after Ox's goal early on where he raised the ball he was just sounding off. "I reckon it sucks, I've seen so many games turned because of that shocking behaviour"

What is your "Go To" Dees Game Highlights Video
Love the question, these are the first ones that come to mind: - 2000 Qualifying Final last quarter against Carlton - 2005 Rd 21 last quarter against the Bulldogs and Jeff White's winning goal - 2006 Elimination final against the Saints - 2016 against the Hawks - 2017 against the Eagles. Might have been my favourite Sat night ever as a Dees fan -2018 against the Eagles. I still have this gane recorded in the Foxtel planner and watch that last quarter probably more than anything I've mentioned. One of the best days of my Melb supporting life. - 2018 finals. Also, I always had a really special place in my heart for certain pieces of play by us that involved a massive team lifting bump that flattened the opposition that leads to the team kicking a goal straight after (usually from about 15 - 20 years ago). I used to jump through the roof when this would happen. The 2 that come to mind are the Neitz one on Mccabe that effectively ended his career. And the Wrecker Whelan one on James Hird in the 2004 down the members wing that led to the Trapper goal.
