See I really don't like the idea of next year being an all or nothing year. Making it this year and breaking that stupid drought whilst getting a final into the guys made logical improvement sense. A performance like that will see us get played off the park by 10 goals if we were lucky enough to make it. Freo, Hawthorn, North, to a lesser extent GWS and now today. These games all had a pattern about them. The other side gets the jump on us 4 or 5 goals up at qtr time, we end up having to kick, punch, scrap, scrounge and claw to get back into it. We end up chasing the game, make a little in-roads and lose by somewhere between 1 to 3 kicks essentially flattering ourselves against some bottom 8 quality opposition.
