2020 was incredibly tough, obviously no-where near as tough for me as others but it was a major drag. Caught up with a 'sort of' ex today who moved back to Adelaide in May and was getting some stuff back off me. I really don't think she fully understood how hard the Stage 4 lockdown period was. Like many others I was hoping the mere changing of the calendar would change everything and I'm confident it will eventually but it's definitely going to be a slow burn.

I feel like Sean and Kyle are really similar in this way. They both seem to want to change the game rather than go with what works well a lot of the time. And are real stubborn in the process as well. I don't know if Sean does this but lately Kyle seems to waste time designing plays for some of our crappest receivers.

Yeah I was never crazy on the floating fixture idea but if the games are at least announced after Rd 6 that would be something. Would be nice to be able to plan in advance for interstate travel again. The footy frenzy floating fixture seemed to divide everyone with those who could easily have gone another nights footy after 20 games in a row and those who appreciated the time between games like old times. Hang on, everything divided people this year what am I talking about. Can't even be bothered complaining about it, the AFL tells us what to like these days anyway.
