  1. Hopefully it also puts to rest people claiming that nothing is wrong with the club and its all media BS. Perception is reality and it cost us elite talent by the sound of it.
  2. I worry about 'sporting news'. Seems like the Daily Mail of sport news sites.
  3. I just caught the tail-end of an SEN interview with Houston and from what I'm gathering our issues have literally cost us his services. Did anyone catch all of it?
  4. Thanks for everything Adam. Sometimes maligned but certainly played his part in the journey to the flag. One of the good guys
  5. I just want this guy to get a game as Picket's birthday present.
  6. I don't think Port did as well in the trade period as they think they did. Or think that they thought they did.
  7. Sounds like a pervert's name. No offense if anyone knows them personally.
  8. McClure's smacks of self appointed nickname syndrome.
  9. He better pay up or he's going to be walked to the pre-season draft of doom.
  10. I want to give credit but I also want to wait.
  11. I reckon most of Richmond's trade period was luck. Very fortunate that their players wanted to go to clubs that had the picks. These grades are so subjective and frankly stupid. I do agree with ours at C+ but the Bulldogs at D+? Thought they did some reasonable business on the last day. Bombers C, what did they do again apart from move Scratch and Stringer on? Waste of paper, ink and bandwidth writing these articles.
  12. I would have liked Derksen but I'm not fussed with the talls we're going with. a lot of my friends think we need to throw everything at a marquee forward and I hate this idea. There might have been a time when this was the missing piece of the puzzle but there's a lot of other pressing issues now.
  13. It's over, time for everyone to get jobs.
  14. Kurt never died? Cobain?
  15. I'm talking about Harry Armstrong and I've been watching a bit more than just short highlight reels.
  16. From the footage I've watched he looks a bit like a stat sheet forward and mainly about the marks, kicks, goals. That's not a bad thing if you're very good at it but it's what these types of players do when they are out of a contest that matters. Can they get it to ground? Flick it onto a small forward? Make good second efforts and tackle hard? Or do they check out? It's something that bothers me a bit with Max King. If we're going for a KPF I'd love a work rate team oriented one.
  17. I don't think West Coast's mature age additions are as good as they think they are.
  18. NFL

This will take all my skills.. Bengals, Eagles, Ravens
  19. Really need to borrow your Hilux
  20. Sounds like Ivan Soldo has stuffed it up terribly
  21. Culture problems
  22. With the Stringer deal off this is probably even less likely.
  23. Yeah remember when he would be running with the ball then as he kicked he'd raise the ball up before dropping it like some kid at Auskick? Was not a sight for sore eyes. Some team will reap the benefits with Smillie if they put he resources into him.
  24. Yeah interesting. It is true though, all key backs at youth level seem to be interceptors and rarely your classic 1 v 1 full back. Almost seems like something they have to perfect once they get into the AFL system.
