  1. New posts from Andy that feature a linked article get my heart racing lately. Especially when they take a few seconds to load!
  2. Munro has been outstanding, can't believe he missed out on the team of the year.
  3. I'd say the first 10 games was softer in a sense that it might have given us an extra win or 2. Pretty confident that with any other draw we would have been about 8-2 at worst.
  4. Agree. Come on Swans, no tease this time.
  5. He was such a great leader to the ball carrier as well. The number of times he'd start shoulder to shoulder with the defender and end up 3 or 4 metres in front of them by the time the kick came in, sublime.
  6. The ex list managers always seem to have a chip on their shoulder!
  7. It doesn't get said enough and I don't want to sound like a suck but I appreciate all your points of view on this. This is why we have a message board! I'm still not sold on it but I will say I'm open to some of the thoughts expressed here and what the FD might have in mind. It's a tricky one and there's good points for and against, if in the end we decide to take a calculated risk then it will fit the mould of 'not standing still' at least.
  8. I don't disagree Demons11, but if people (not saying you) are going to go on and on about how ANB and Spargo never get enough of the footy or goals then it seems strange that Melksham can hardly touch it and get a pass. Yes he did a reasonable job in this game but with his skill and experience level it would have been nice to see some more involvement. We play such a system based game in the first place it's a big sacrifice to take guys out of the system to soley play negating roles. That's just my view on it, they may have been very happy with what he did though.
  9. We need better injuries next year.
  10. NFL

Yep, one of the oldest and fierce rivalries around. You could make an argument for Cowboys and Eagles being the biggest divisional rivalry but there's something about games with the conerstone NFL franchises and I love the history with this one. Some great stories about how Lombardi was always paranoid about Hallas having spies at Packers practices!
  11. Agreed, we did everything we could when it came to Liam's well being. Such a sad turn of events, I've never seen a talent with his skillset and attributes before or since.
  12. Yeah I thought we were going to be at 93% peak levels
  13. Was keen on him, thought we could have alternated him and Petty forward possibly.
  14. Sometimes I have a photographic memory and am I right that in 2018 you had to go to some stupid Collingwood event for the Grand Final after we'd just bowed out?
  15. Hopefully this thread finds the answer soon.
  16. I'm ready to not watch football.
  17. Please don't tell me it's down to Hird and Yze? Haven't heard squat else.
  18. Is it fair to say that it's harder to sack a mate?
  19. Let's all relax with a few beers.
  20. Kids will like who we tell them to like 😛
  21. His role on Mccartin has been a tad overblown. Went with him in forward 50 to an extent but seemed to changeover when he got outside 50. Reasonable defensive job but a lacklustre game I thought and needed a lot more from him.
  22. They just keep em coming too!
  23. Wonder how much a year out of the game at this age hurts him as well?
