It was just really strange, Dermott can be bizarre at the best of times but I honestly thought he was about to state some list and structural related reasons as to why they didn't go with Ryder. Nek minnut he says they might like the nightlife too much and disrupt (or a word similar to disrupt) each other. I don't think Dermott is a racist but it does give you that little glimpse into the overall attitude at that time for HFC.

Really hope they have more in them. A Carlton friend of mine says the only thing that gives him more joy than seeing Carlton win a flag is seeing Collingwood lose one. I on the other hand would prefer they stay away from any of that and stay bad for the rest of eternity.
