  1. No real surprise. A few clubs out there would be keen.
  2. Clarko taught him well.
  3. The only guy who openly supported the camp and the positive impact it had on him. Heart and soul of AFC and ultimate clubman. Those fans are scum and don't deserve him, hope he gets a late career trade and maybe a last shot at a flag.
  4. I watch this film a lot lately!
  5. I'm getting a little frustrated with the argument that certain things introduced would be more 'exciting' for the competition. When they first brought the sub in around 2011 the people who liked it said it was exciting and added something to the game but didn't really factor in what it meant for players and coaches. Just this morning I was speaking with my boss about Marvel, he likes going there and thinks it's a good stadium fair enough. I said that the place is pretty flawed and that I've never been a fan of the surface and he replied "Well, I don't play on it". This is the kind of person that laps up whatever the AFL gives them. It's almost this self absorbed entertainment factor and it makes you feel like a nutjob for caring about the overall state of the competition and how it's played. I do think it will happen and we will get used to it, whatever dude.
  6. Make sure we get the two heavy hitter club CEOs in that caption.
  7. I do think he's entitled to his opinion. He does however have no knowledge of the inner workings at MFC and can't read Brodie's mind.
  8. I wish there was more footage of it, looked like something out of Tad Lasso. I haven't seen Ted Lasso but taking a punt for potential good social veneer.
  9. Watched a bit of Curtain's highlights last night. Moves well for a tall.
  10. The only VHS tape I have in a place that I can identify quickly is a taped version of this game.
  11. Maybe a Clint Bartram
  12. No but they're being played there, that's sort of all that matters right now isn't it?
  13. Definitely next time!
  14. I haven't taken part in this quiz but I'm happy that everyone seems to have had a good time doing it!
  15. Jeff could certainly kick a footy, wouldn't have made a bad KPF himself if he wasn't such a gem in ruck.
  16. Still time for a quick trip to Camp Grenada!
  17. Just wondering how long our midfield can function well without him. At this point it's looking a bit like a Jack Viney 2018 situation where he may lack match fitness but we'll go all in on getting him right for finals.
  18. These are the little 1%ers that successful footy clubs do in list management. Not as glamorous as writing big checks or chasing unicorns but they seem to work really well!
  19. I've got one too unrelated to finals. 17th vs 18th in the bye week, winner gets no.1 pick!
  20. Haha righto Chris Heisenberg! In all seriousness they could be if everything goes right for them. This Brisbane and Geelong game is a real mover and shaker.
  21. I like it Deever!
  22. Agree, needs a breather. Not like we're bereft of options in this area.
  23. Put a price on his head trade wise and maybe we can have a discussion. Would still rather go all in on trying to nab a Mckercher or Watson.
  24. I like Smith, i'm a fan of gut running mids. But we're in the middle of another media circus over a player we may not have needed, this one would ensure we have another this time next year.
