GAMEDAY: Rd 18 vs Essendon
Tough crowd.. As for tonight I do think we're a chance. Ruckman dominance doesn't always equal success, still got our rearguard who will cut off everything if there's enough pressure up the ground. We do need to be wary of Essendon's quick ball movement but maybe the rain could play into our favour? Time will tell. Wherever Harrison plays I'm aure he'll have some kind of impact tonight.

Says pretty much everything when the guy you brought in to back up Max is pipped at selection by the guy who never plays in ruck, gets hurt nearly every week at the moment and according to some on here has been 'underdone' most of the year. Definitely not panning the selection, reseeving judgement on that one but it's pretty disappointing that we get a guy in only for there to be no trust in him at all at selection and this goes for about 4 games this year not just this one.

Free to Air TV Losing Money and Shedding Jobs - What does that mean for footy?
The anti-siphoning laws are so dated in this country it's not funny. Watch it all go to hell.

Food at the Footy
If I'm starving on those stupid Thurs night games I might get the chips and chicken strips thing but I generally don't eat at the footy.

Pathetic. But whatever.

Oscar Allan
Not only 53 goals, but 53 goals in a tyre fire of a team. If there's even a bee's diaphragm of a chance of getting him we need to go chips in.

Come on down Oscar! It's open season on the West Coast fire sale.

Adam Simpson departs West Coast
Before the meat market begins, I'd just like to pay tribute to Simmo. 10 years coaching in the west with a flag to his name. Like Goodwin, a philosophy based coach who doesn't like to swing the magnets around on gameday but believed in his system. I don't know what the overall feeling was among the fan base but the few WC members I know very well were right behind him until the very end. He was up for the rebuild and seemed to do the best he could and up until recently it looked they believed in him. Don't know what happened behind the scenes but a good coach has lost his job and that's never nice. All the best Simmo.

Most would know that this was always likely to happen and aren't just finding out now how imbalanced the list is. hey may have known this at the start of the year but had their fingers crossed, understandable. Gotta take a risk, Fullerton was obviously good enough to make it to this level. Let's see if he can do a simplified job as a competitor. We've got nothing to lose except our dignity, roll the dice.

The talk is that Kane may not even start against Holland! He was well down against the Swiss, big call but a good case for Palmer to start. Headaches for Southgate coming up..

Jason Taylor - visionary or overrated
I would say much more towards brilliant than overrated. No draft guru has a 100% record and I certainly don't want him going anywhere.
