This is the puzzle ? of the MFC that has baffled all comers. If we had won the GF last year, i could fully understand a down year afterwards, i wouldn’t be happy but it is explainable. But last year we were thrashed unmercifully in Perth, so i have no idea what the players and coaches are hanging their hat on, as far as this year was concerned. Was Goodwin unaware of this attitude creeping in? How would you miss it if you are astute at your job. The whole 2019 Campaign stinks, which is why after 25 odd years i will be holding off Membership Payments until i can see a massive change in attitude throughout the club. I don’t pay to see arrogance when it is never backed up. Anyone can do that

Well the best way to stop people talking like that is to make things change not to think it’s all to hard, or that it will just happen

Sure. It was shameful that the players came back with a bloated attitude. The Club should have extremely high standards as a template, for every player to know, but obviously we don’t have anybody who gas even thought of that. We really should be living in the VAFA because that’s how the board think. I have worked in Departments that have changed attitude and standards within 8 hours, either change or you are out. And guess what, people change. Why does it take the MFC an entire season to change nothing? It is staggering

You are making excuses for the players Chook They haven’t been hungry all year. Why they are not the Hungriest bunch of kids in the AFL, i will never understand. Fact is this Club hasn’t won a Cup in 55 years and we are still eons away

But why cover? Goody should have been ropable if such an attitude existed. We got smashed in a Prelim, it wasn’t as if we were even close. Burgess must drive them harder than anything they have had before, from Day 1.

I have never liked 2 Captains at all. It splits the room, particularly when the side is performing badly. We have to stand up rather than be on Training wheels. Leadership qualities are easy to spot if you know how to look. Psychology Lectures and Studying Body Language taught me that. Jones and Viney are not it. When did either lead with pure guts this year. The real stories about this year will come out soon, there is no way it was harmonious. 2 Captains just multiplies a bad vibe if problems arrive. We need one Captain, that the entire list will stand by. Who has Respect...
