This has got nothing to do with onfield matters. A Club Emblem/Logo is all about getting young kids on board We have a large void to fill in that respect, which all started back in the mid 60’s when Television started to show Saturday Replays in Prime Time. Sadly this coincided with our fall down the ladder, which meant The MFC were very rarely on and when we were on, it was usually a heavy loss. The result being Kids followed other teams It wasn’t cool to be a Melbourne Supporter… The problem still exists, we have to grow our Membership and the lifeblood of that is Young Kids So an Emblem that they want to identify with and wear, is very important. I don’t mind our current logo, it’s ok, but i do think it is a little bland I think a Demon with a Trident is needed with Flames too….!!

Not at all, in a practice game you have no idea what the tactics of the opposition are. Round 1 you know the opponent will be going at 100%

Games where Players are not going at 100% against an opponent are dangerous. That’s when a lot of injuries happen. i am well aware nothing is bulletproof, but these televised games are a liability
