The word Collingwood is not heard while walking the streets of manila, as i am doing at present. Photographs and words about Collingwood do not appear on the back of Newspapers in Manila. But People do know Melbourne, & most know where it is. (I gave my 2005 Members Scarf to a Family last monday-Since they have all taken turns to wear it, even in 32 Deg Heat) Collingwood is not the center of the universe-I just want to remind you of this fact, when you hear those incredibly dull Bastards on Talk Back Radio rabbiting on & on about how Great & Big Collingwood are........They are not Big outside there own little Bubble. Possibly but an arguement used too often. I have always liked the Russian, but i always thought he was a little shy as a footballer for what he is- A Massive unit. This year he has imposed and intimidated his opposition within the Rules Plus taken on these roles with very little back up. IMO the giving of a one year contract has contributed to this years form. He REALLY wants to make it in AFL. Not just play But make it. He deserves every bit of cred he gets this year.

I am sure Jamar & Miller knew at the start of the year that this year they had to Fire Up injuries or not. Jamar has been a fringe player for years. But through 12 games so far this year he has become the First player picked. because he now believes in his ability and has thus pushed it even further, if that mind set all started because he was given a one year deal-well good the strategy is working for both parties. Certain players need that motivation, as do people in business. The Fact he is now being rewarded is a credit to his hard work.

That one year contract was the Best thing for the Russian...It got him Pumped up. I like the idea of sprinkling one year contracts through out our list. As i stated a few Months ago...Would Ricky Petterd really want to Shake Jim Stynes Hand & say Goodbye at years end?? I sure hope not. Money isn't the be all & end all with job satisfaction. Darwin was a "home" game with a neutral opponent. It was a great win, but we need to win on opposition soil. That's why it's important.

The Guy played in a premiership side while in year 12, back in '93 when i first went Overseas. Now that is so long ago in my life, & he is still playing 2010 football , & doing it well. In no way is he being carried. Yep all i can say is i wish Dustin Fletcher had played for Melbourne. (just imagine if Jack Watts had played in a Flag winning side last year) Dustin Fletcher is a credit to himself & the game, regardless of his tribunial visits.

I win at AAMI is critical in terms of player confidence. To win without crowd support, just the team working for each other. Hopefully Beamers Boxing & Bonding camp down at warnnabool last week will help to build confidence.

Big Jimma has just got to live each day to its fullest. I think he is doing that, he inspires us all i hope.
