Is communication mark neeld's biggest weakness?
Sir Why You Little replied to Norm Smith's Curse's topic in Melbourne Demons
There has to be communication breakdowns. The fact that Mark is a qualified teacher is the biggest worry to me. He should be ready for this. Everybody takes in nformation differently. This has gone on too long for my liking. It's not working. It must be changed..soon. -
Oh dear. More headlines.

"Melbourne is worse than Fitzroy" - Shaw
Sir Why You Little replied to praha's topic in Melbourne Demons
PJ don't put words in my mouth. I believe the wrong decision was made. The club showed no Balls. Mclardy said we would fight...all along..then bent over and refused any further correspondence on the matter. I will never agree to that being the right decision. That is why there is no passion for our jumper right now. There is no trust. The sooner the current power base of the MFC Board up & leave the better. I do not support Quitters. You can do as you wish. -
Just a reminder: Melbourne are bad - R.Connolly

I didn't mind reading the comparison actually. Mark Neeld should read it. Forget the text books and just get plain angry. Even try saying the word "win" occasionally. Might just work. -

the sad thing is we are seeing the repercussions of not going to court right now. The 3 lawyers i spoke to all said we should take it further, but we could argue that for years. I do not support quitters & never will. Don Mclardy let me down after Presiding over that period of time. And now the players don't care. I am very Angry these clueless people have thrown my club down the S Bend. -
DL you cannot be serious in expecting the football public to wait until the END OF NEXT YEAR before doing anything. There is a Broadcast Deal that the MFC at present are not helping...It has been spoken of at HQ. We cannot continue to play games that are over 5 minutes into the first Quarter. Neeld may be heading in the right direction in your eyes. But his message is not getting through. Call it an energy blockage.

if we had gone to court we had a dam good case. Stop fooling yourself. If you are offended by my reference to Don as President tell me what he has done right during his tenure?? I have never seen a worse team than the one we are wittnessing now. It all started with the Tanking Template. Sorry if that fact bores you. It must be fixed, not swept under the carpet hoping it will go away. When did Don last front the members apart from a generic printed letter?? -
Sadly yes. But Neeld has committed suicide by not replacing Moloney with a similar player. If there was no replacement then the 2 of them needed to come to a working compromise. They didn't, so we get smashed up weekly.

Ratten is an excellent outsider considering the midfield disaster we have now.

Prestia & Roos thanks PJ. This is your mission, well one of many!

Robert Shaw is bang on the money. Fitzroy ended up with nothing but a card table, but they fought on to the last moment for that jumper. They would have had a crack last sunday unlike the MFC's limp effort. Whilst Mclardy enjoyed the free food. Should have gone to fight in court Don. It might just have shaken the joint up in the right way. As it is the soul of this club is lying in intensive care. In the immortal words of Hunter S Thompson. "It's gonna be close..." -
you maybe right. But his work ethic last year was a disgrace in relation to his team mates on the field.

Hope Brent Moloney reads that article. Then has a good hard look at himself.

6 Years on and it's a cold winter again!
Sir Why You Little replied to Soidee's topic in Melbourne Demons
I heard a talkback caller last night describe the MFC Board as "a bunch of maniacs who make losing an art form" I laughed because i couldn't disagree. The bloke was a Nought Melbourne supporter. He sure teed off on us, went for about 10 minutes!! -
i am well aware DL of what was there for Swooper. Swooper did not waste his opportunity. I don't consider Neeld to be doing the same job as RDB. he certainly won't get 5 years.

Do it inside your head. CS is probably relaxing in vegas for all we know. But in Melbourne the horror movie is in full swing

i agree, but i was asked if i would put my hand up. And i am well aware of my limitations. -
Stuie must you bag out every comment in this discussion? If you must put people down, do it in your head. We are all hurting watching this horror movie. Let people vent & come to terms with itt.

I remember Fitzroy very well. I am disgusted things have got this bad. But they have. The MFC needs more than its members right now. That was shown by last sundays game. Even after CS has gone the players cannot be motivated. It is that bad. -
i am well aware of what RDB and Slug did. But i also give credit to Swooper. He kept that group up for 5 years. Remember those 2 brutal wins against Hawthorn in 90? Twice in 7 days.
