i would be willing to talk to people. I have no experience at Board Level but i love this club so i am prepared to get involved Jack. Discuss whatever over a long lunch...sure. It is the supporters and members who will save this mess right now. I do not know the answers, but am prepared to listen & learn.

Well said GNF...if anybody cannot see the work Barassi did and left for Northey then they need to study some history. To be frightened of "poaching" Paul Roos because he doesn't like the club is pathetic talk. Make him like it. Give him the power and control he needs to get the club firing. It's time the Board kept quiet and learnt how it is done in the 21st Century. Get rid of those Blazers....HIGH PRIORITY:)

Look at the Shockers even with a no name forward line. The players give their all & more. Are you for real? Are you telling me this motley crew of a playing list are giving 100%?? A Paul Roos coach would get this limp bunch sorted within hours. BUT IT WILL COST.

Not if Jackson is true to his word. Get the right people into the place FINALLY. eg. If it was announced that Roos has been signed that $2 mill debt would be under control in 2-3 weeks. Coaching Melbourne should be the greatest challenge available within the AFL.

Oucher, you are spot on. This club need a total cleanout off field this year. Hollywood Boulevard must leave quickly without a fight. We need Professionals to run this old girl. The right choices will turn it around. The wrong choices have been made and we are in deep shite. But it can be fixed. I am not against more AFL appointments, who have no earlier connection at all. Mclardy's Board is done.

I always Hated Hollywood Boulevard. I saw it in the 90's and Questioned what they had actually done as a team to earn it. It still lingers today. It must go...today.

LARGE amounts of people need to go from within the club NOW. Neeld has coached for 20 months. The job is too big for him. Peter Jackson should be on the phone to Paul Roos right with an offer he cannot refuse with time to sort his assistants out. Bottom Line.

The MFC need an experienced coach with hand picked assistants. I do not give a Jatz Cracker about what other clubs do.

Big changes are needed this week otherwise supporters & sponsors will start to walk. The playing group is dysfunctional as is the club, 15 more weeks of this...i think not. Mark just doesn't have the experience to run a club like Melbourne. It's not his fault. A shocking appointment is what it is.

If nothing is done till years end, will any supporters turn up to our games? I am serious when i say that. The stats on todays game should tell the CEO quite a bit. The coach is out of his depth. He only needs to read Mclardy's last 2 letters to the members to understand the position of the President. Can we risk another 15 weeks of destruction?

Neeld as a teacher should know what to do when the messages are not getting through. I am sure he has tried many ways. But to not shoulder the blame as a senior coach in the presser was just incredible. I think he knows the dream is over....

FCS THIS CLUB NEEDS A COACH WITH EXPERIENCE. A social hub will not win us games. Get the Footy right and the people will drink.

Mark Fine just stated we should train at the MCG. I agree. If the AFL want the club to survive, this should be high on the list.
