Not sure he wants to spread his wing, in fact the article that started this did not even mention Freo were interested in Spencer so i think the whole things a thought experiment...

Not sure. Griffin is older, shorter, averages more disposals bit averages less hitouts and has played 90 games to Spencils 36. The are pretty even fr mine. Still prefer Jake as least he knows our systems.

I struggle to see why you would trade Spencil unless he asked to be traded. We re-signed him for another year in May this year and the way the club operates in list management these days does not make me think that he is being offered up. Sure we may get an offer from another club but it would have to be a bloody great deal as we need to have a back up. Trading in a mature rookie that needs to still take time to learn our play and build connections to the mid field when you have one who knows all that and whom when he plays gives his all. i also don't subscribe to the view we need a first round pick to find talent.

THE MOST AWESOME POST MATCH THREAD EVER!!!
felixdacat replied to red and blue forever's topic in Melbourne Demons
You f'n beauty! -
The incident aside I reckon Jeffy's form the last few games have dropped and that he deserved to get dropped. He needs to go back to find it again in the two's. I don't believe that incident alone caused his ommision but it sure did not help his case. I reckon he will come back from it and be better for it. Go Dee's!

What are you on? Seriously! You need to go have a lie down and or sober up. He played well today didn't star but worked into the game 19 touches and was blowing a bit by the end but will be better for it. Jack is 24 years old. ffs and you have already put a line through him, that's just sad.

I like it but I was thinking that you swap Hunt on to Rioli and Jetta on Poppi

Yes have I have no idea if it is a real mathematic concept but it illustrates the type of twisted logic EFC supporter (whom post on BF) have. I guess I could have used Fuzzy Logic also but it's sometimes refreshing to be a little obscure with your posts.

If you want to avoid a snapshot of the delusions of grandeur and persecution that are perpetuated by Essendon supporter don't go to BF in particular the forum in Essendon section that has the "Opposition Supporters Carded" It reminds me of Steely Dan's Third Album Title.

The AFL Integrity Unit comply with th other definition of "integrity" "the state of being whole and undivided." If attacked by outside entities or parties they maintain the integrity of competition by plastering or white washing over any threats or issues that make the AFL look bad.

Have been rewatching the some old games on the AFL Live app on the IPad. I was watching our last win in 2014. Round 13 where we beat Essendon by 1 point. That games was more Essendon lost it more then we winning due to some poor goal kicking from them. We were able to grab momentum back when we lost it and hold on for the win. Round 13 2014 10 games later our next win Round 1, 2015 versus Gold Coast was a game where we truly beat our opponents down. They tried coming back but we had all the answers and we won convincingly by 26. Round 1, 2015 The improvement in our footy between these two matches was incremental and it was gratifying to see that the hard work come to fruition in the first game of the season. 2014 was frustrating for us as I could see moments of good football surrounded by bad football. I could also see how it all has came together for the games we won. 2015 was less frustrating as those moments of good Football translated into 7 wins, but there were dark times also rounds 15, 17 & 21 (Essendon, Saints, Carlton) But on balance I am excited to see how our footy has improved from the last win in round 23 2015 GWS and to see who we beat first up this season. Roll on 2106 and Go the Dee's!

Christian Petracca's toe injury (in full training)
felixdacat replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Seems to me Mr Pickering is not saying anything profound but stating the bleeding obvious. It's not even headline worthy just another bit of click bait for the Hun. -
If he doesn't sign with Port it will be Hawthorn. Just a wild guess!

Both contributed in their 100+ games so have know qualms regarding their life membership and if they have sons (or daughters) they may contribute in the future also. Also when you think of their contributions on their departures to other clubs C Sylvia for Bernie Vince J Rivers (& B Maloney) for Dean Kent So bravo to Col and Jared I wish them both the best in the future. ????????

I believe Misson approves it, as a Rob Jackson is the MFC Strength and Conditioning coach
-
A true indicator of moral bankruptcy would be to determine the AFL's stance/policy on Banana's and to a lessor extent mango curry.
-
Rob Jackson occasionally puts up videos on Instagram of the boys training and there was a really great one today of Petracca for those who have Instagram there is some good videos of the boys training also, especially great to see some vision of the boys for us non-Melbourne supporters who only get to read the great reports on Demonland.

We find a new coach or convince the current one to stay We upgrade a rookie (Possibly Viv) and request another selection along with all the other clubs affected. If you think Melbourne are in trouble then you would hate to be a Port Adelaide supporter if CAS give their players a 2 year ban. The club and team will be just fine without Melksham and Goodwin so let's all take deep breath!
-
IMHO It doesn't look ideal for Goodwin but I doubt he will get caught up in any fall out from the CAS Hearing. My reasoning is that; 1. Goodwin admitted to the AFL and ASADA that he was given Hexarelin and other supplements from Dank along with 5 other EFC staffers. Hexarelin is banned under WADA for players but not for Staff and support people its. If this was evidence of an ADV against Goodwin he would have been in trouble by now. http://www.theage.com.au/afl/afl-news/bomber-five-admit-dank-drugs-link-20130510-2jdqc.html 2. The AFL in their notice of charges against Essendon named staff whom they believed their conduct brought the game into disrepute those being Robson, Hird, Thompson, Corcoran, Reid, Hamilton, Robinson and Dank. I believe if he had a more involvement in the ADV or the running of the program it would have come out in this report. http://www.afl.com.au/staticfile/AFL Tenant/AFL/Files/EssendonFC-notice-of-charges.pdf

Most unpleasant is an understatement, i am sure. If it was me and I turned around i reckon I would punched him in the face. -
I am happy we are going to re rookie Viv while he hasn't set the world on fire I think he can produce good footy if he can get his mindset right. He worked his way into the side but a couple of errors and his self belief wavered. He has the physical attributes and skill but a consistent run at it may make the world of difference.
