Perhaps not winning those games without TJ .............may of actually helped, and with Grimes in the bank developing, overall whilst it might appear one step back, by this time next year it may be three steps forward. Sometimes you've gotta step back to go forward...........much like the transfer of play over the field....so to speak. As long as you don't lose possession! I think we are in good hands.

Happy to see the Demons re-sign him. And to those who thought he was one of those players the Demons should be looking to trade................yeh....you know who you are! He stuck it right up you!.........ie Goose!, Jimmy!, etc He will provide valuable leadership to the younger brigade, with his in and under type play.

There's nothing special............how can you make that assumption after a handful of games. For me...........its watch this space. Brett Lovett may have been considered too slow at Hawthorn, but he was definitely not considered slow at Melbourne. During the late 80's, and very early 90's, those at Hawthorn knew they had let a fantastic player slip through their fingers. What made him such a fantastic footballer was his footy nous with the ball in defence, and many-a-time set up plays with accurate kicking and handballing. He along with the likes of Sean Wight were the engine room of our "defence" (I hate using that term) back then in the late 80's.

Yes I do go, and yes I watched Bruce. Its fair to say he's 1st quarter was well below, and he had zero influence. Should you be having a go at him soley? Or give credit to his opponent? His disposal yes, should be better. Not sure about getting all of his possessions at the end of the game.......How do you know this, anwyway I'm usually at the bar at the end of the game drowning my sorrows after another loss.... I agree with this. It was a poor game by his standards, but there were others too. .... I am just sick of so many players being mentioned for trade, and I reckon he wouldn't be considered for trade in the position he is in.

The team got within 3 goals in the last quarter which wasn't a bad effort from inexperienced players considering the poor start - still disappointing though....

Johnny Depp..........maybe the latter Why do you reckon I use my alias "High Tower" (PJ's knick name), he's a beauty and continues to improve. I think the forward line may be his go, and having stints in the ruck around the ground. Incorrect. He hits to advantage better than alot of other ruckmen going around.

I'm tipping if we were a winning side some of you guys wouldn't even be contemplating Cameron Bruce as a trade. He will finish in our top 5 Best & Fairest again this year. Sure he may of not had one of his best games yesterday, but he has had more good games collectively than most MFC players of late. If I kept a record of some of your statements over the last few weeks, I reckon you'd be trading half the side at the end of this year! Ridiculous!

Tell us what you really think btdemon! With regards to that goal, he actually tried to centre it, it was not intended to be a 'fluke goal'. So that would come under a Disciplined Act one would of thought.
