  1. By jingo! He must be good!
  2. Maybe I wasn't clear here - apologies. Either will need to be traded IMO, not specifically this trade period approaching. Warnock if not secured through the draft -then the PSD with PSDno.1. Yes. Perhaps the 2009 trade period.
  3. These were my first thoughts too. essendon have had more soft tissue injuries than any other side this year. Just ask Essendon.
  4. The Mfc Footy Department will be on the move as soon as that trade bell rings, they will be heading straight to the Freo room with Connolly knocking down the door. It will either be a real long week or Freo will bend over. I agree either Jamar or PJ will be needed to be traded if Warnock is secured - or at least guaranteed of going through to the PSD to be picked up with PSD 1. IMO with Jamar having been there 6 years and the preferred candidate for Rucking at the Centre Bounce (ie Ruck No.1); and PJ playing the forward option, and the word being that Melbourne are giving the opportunity for Warnock to be the No.1 ruck spot. I think Jamar will be the one that will be put up for trade ahead of PJ. On the flipside, if Melbourne misses out on getting Warnock and he goes elsewhere (ie Carlton - courtesy of Pratt). The Dees will go after Naitanui in the draft.
  5. Here's a snippet of Dean Bailey's post match review: - Post-Game - This was a really embarrassing loss. There was no desire apparent from the group, which is perplexing considering we had everything to play for. We were saying goodbye to three highly regarded people within our Club, and the effort our players put out there on the field was absolutely unacceptable. - The loss once more came down to our poor skill level. Too regularly we turned the ball over through poor decision making and skill errors, which Richmond pounced on and punished us going inside their forward 50. - Only three players can say that they earned a pass mark for their efforts during the game, with Matthew Whelan, Matthew Warnock and Daniel Bell all having a decent crack. They are all competitive types of players, and their efforts are what is needed by all 22 players when they represent the Club - week in, week out. - We had an honest chat with the players after the game about how we embarrassed the jumper and our three retiring players. The players who want to represent this jumper in upcoming seasons will want to turn up to pre-season training in absolute top shape, because if they don't, they will be in for a rude awakening. Rather an honest assessment IMO. He has identified Matty Whelan, Daniel Bell and Matthew Warnock's effort on Matthew Richardson as three players who had a fair dinkum crack. Daniel Bell is a favourite of Bailey's, so to those who want to talk trade with Bell in the trading forum...you're probably wasting your time.
  6. looks great! I'd buy that one too..
  7. Can't wait to see who voted for who.......I'd be very interested in Adrian Anderson's votes <_<
  8. No reason.... I like this back six for next season anyway fwiw: - Whelan Martin Warnock Buckley Rivers Wheatley And I would like to see Garland experimented up forward.
  9. Speak for yourself....
  10. After the season they've had, IMO, they should have two weeks off and start training after the Preliminary Finals. Not October 13th. I hope they've all had their skin fold tests and physicals done prior to Mad Monday... <_<
  11. That reminds me of a side not all that long ago, Wallsy......ah that's right, Carlton.
  12. Simon Buckley. We definitely need more. The likes of a Blease would be a welcome addition. I wouldn't say Bizzell provided 'exceptional' run & carry.
  13. Why don't you do it today, whilst their still manning the phones? You will get message service tonight.
  14. Get a cold flanel and lie down WYL. Settle. We get your point.

Season 2008 is an accurate reflection of where both players are at. It shows Sylvia is on the improve where as Lovett was steady but had only 22 scoring shots - down on his previous 3 years. Sylvia was up even though Bailey played him down back earlier in the season.

The footage is impressive, some real high telling marks at the death of the game. The kid can play. He would be awesome up forward or down back. It's a hard decision for the recruiter Bazza, that's for sure. He would be going to bed at night, thinking, "why just couldn't it have been Picks 1 and 2!"
  17. Fitzroy in 1996 was 49%! Very good. Alot of footy these days is uncontested footy. Defensively alot of teams set up defensive zones and don't man-up until the ball is kicked out. That's why they seem to be hemmed in like chooks and invariably alot of the time the opposition gets caught or coughs up the ball courtesy of a poor kick in or spilt mark.
  18. Now that its into September, where or how can donations be sent for the running of the site WJ?
  19. Age with Coffee. Check herald-sun online for any Dees info or the latest. Then Demonland.
  20. Won't happen Chopper. You seriously think Adelaide would trade a younger player and an earlier draft pick for an older player and later pick? <_< If it sounds to good to be true, it's not going to happen.
  21. I have seen enough evidence this year to suggest it would not suprise me in the slightest if we end up with fewer than 5 wins next season. I'm a realist. There needs to be a big improvement for that not to happen. I wouldn't mind picks 1 and 2 in 2009 draft if it happened to occur, for the record.
  22. And Jamar has been there since 2003. 2 years longer than PJ.

I think your a year early.
  24. McKinley will stay at West Coast. They won't want to trade him.
  25. I reckon this is more than likely an accurate description of what might of taken place.
