  1. I think you are rather frustrated, not one eyed. We've been down for a while now, and sometimes you can only take so much - especially when you're stuck at home, ill & on the couch.. Until we reverse our form and get some wins on the board and improve our position on the ladder with consistency, we'll be copping some more, don't worry about that.
  2. I suppose it all comes down to the 'manner' and the 'player's demeanour' in which an umpire is touched these days.
  3. Slight backhander to us: - ....And the weather Gary??
  4. would have been interesting to see what crowd would have been in attendance had Jack Watts had debuted.
  5. Cale Morton aside shame what happened to Palmer
  6. At least we won the series. lol
  7. Great post. I think morton would be better off at AFL in the 22. Head over the ball is a must. No use putting him back in the VFL imo.
  8. Black and white. 0% to advantage.
  9. Agree digga.
  10. Fair dinkum comedy festival here. Either that or a [censored]-fest arguing over Bruce and Greens stats and football history. Both will be regarded as mfc reps who represented their club well with pride loyalty dignity and will have played over 200 games each giving 100%.
  11. You're right regarding the predictability of getting the ball to him CB, sides will start to wake up to this when the Dees have the ball. His kicking hurts opposition sides. We need more of his kind ie precision kicking lace out type stuff. So he's not the only focus.
  12. For those interested in the rucks last night: - PJohnson - 14 possessions - 7 Kicks, 7 Handballs, 3 Marks (none contested), 4 Inside 50's, 3 Tackles, 2 Spoils, 7 Critical Errors, 1 FF, 3 FA 2 Clangers, 15 Hitouts - 7% to advantage. JMeesen - 9 possessions - 3 Kicks, 6 Handballs, 3 Marks (2 contested), 1 Inside 50, 0 Tackles, 1 Spoil, 1 Critical Error, 2 FF, 1 FA 2 Clangers, 9 Hit Outs - 0% to advantage. The Big STATS: - P.Johnson - 7 Critical Errors J.Meesen - 9 Hit Outs - 0% to advantage Ref: Stats - The Age.
  13. How true. Now we have to shut our eyes and curl up, when it gets kicked into the forward 50m!... <_<
  14. C.Sylvia for mine.
  15. So we only got an extra 109 over the weekend?..............
  16. You might want to edit the title buddy.
  17. Given McLean is third in Demonland voting, without setting the world on fire.....suggests he's definitely one of the favourites to take out the Demonland player of the Year.
  18. Another couple of games like recent games, Davey would just about have it in the bag. Although he is no shoe-in with McLean starting to hit his straps with improved fitness.
  19. Suzanna. Don't worry our form will improve.
  20. You're right Trident. Whilst my wife and kids stayed home, I went. Had it been a 2pm bounce, all 5 of us would have gone. You make an excellent point, regardless of the weather. The one thing that appealed to me, was to support our team. For my wife & kids it would of been the same. However a 4:40 start and importantly a late finish prevented them from being there, with school the next day.
  21. Some good news...... I thought it was a thigh....
  22. I heard that also. There was a supporter yelling out during the chain of handballs and turnovers......."just give me something, anything.....give me something.......FCS I need a Beer!"......which drew quite a few laughs.
  23. Last time I looked at odds similar to this was last year before going down to the cattery. The Dees put up a solid effort that day, although Geelong flirted with their form back then. Then later in the year on a wet freezing night at the G, Geelong simply played with us in the wet. Going into that game, I said at the time that I thought we could win it. I don't know why, perhaps I just love the good aussie battler, the underdog. I won't be making that same mistake again. Geelong by 58 points.
  24. Personally, I'd like to see them go head to head with Geelong man on man as well. I wouldn't mind a tag on Ablett. Truth is, no-one has been successful on him of late, he's so hard to match up on. I'd like to see Sylvia been given a go on Ablett. He has played on him before. He will get towelled up I'm guessing, but will give him another insight into the life of a great footballer and how hard he works. Steep learning curve.
  25. That was very frustrating. I think it was a question by Michaelangelo Rucci to Neil Craig. All Craig did was give an honest answer. But he did add, that Bock will have to put up with this. For he has made his own bed.
