  1. He already is.
  2. I get that same feeling.
  3. WELL SAID.
  4. Corrected just for you. Was it as official and as well known then on Sunday, as it was at the press conference this morning 45h? You're not bad 45, keep it up.
  5. Nice to see we have Sandra Sully here in great supply with the late news...
  6. Oh yeah? They seem over the moon with the Warlpiri Wizard. I'm sure they'd love to win more too. Pretty positive that they wouldn't mind the opportunity to play in a Grand Final or even a Premiership.
  7. Indeed.
  8. We might just well be considered a bit of a laughing stock by AFL identities (opposing footy dep't), media and opposition supporters, if we don't finish with 4 or less wins. As crazy as that might seem.
  9. You are right. Until the AFL eliminates the current predicament for the clubs that face this situation year to year, there will always be this scenario for die hard supporters.
  10. Of course, they wouldn't want to admit otherwise. However, it left me in no doubt, they were indeed looking for more wins - not that there is anything wrong with that apart from the fact of missing two very early quality picks! I'm hoping Bailey is a good poker player.
  11. Yeah, I saw it Jarka. Good point too. You had to get some form of feedback.
  12. He also provides goal assists. Of which he had 4 against Port Adelaide. You would be hard pressed to get that output from Robbo! Congrats Warlpiri Wizard (LJ, Cougar, Jurrahcane...lol)
  13. Its officially the Warlpiri Wizard - A.Davey and L.J on SEN
  14. Call me selfish, tell me I am wrong. But i know one thing I want Tom Scully at Melbourne. He may not guarantee a Premiership, granted. But he will provide an advantage for Mfc over other sides in the future. Its like starting at 30-0 when serving for the set with him on your side. It wont guarantee a win but by jingo it will give you a head start. When will the Melbournefc get an elite midfielder if we miss Scully this year?
  15. FCS. I hope all departments are on the same page. From what i saw from Bailey on the couch tonight - they're sticking to the same plan. Yet there seems to be an understanding through media and even opposition supporters that melbourne must get the priority pick upon analysing the list. I hope they know what they're doing.
  16. For those members or supporters that have been fortunate to have seen a Premiership for the Melbournefc or even fortunate to have seen more than one. Can you understand the feelings and opinions of those who haven't seen one in their lifetime? I also ask have you ACTUALLY seen the playing ability of an elite draft prospect in Tom Scully? (Not just write ups or hearsay). I have followed Melbourne all my life, I am still waiting for that day. Ever so patiently. Time is ticking. Answer: We need more stars.
  17. The foot is in the door.
  18. Well said 45. One must remember we're all supporting the same team, we all have enthusiasm for them to achieve the ultimate goal-a premiership. Some might want it a little more than others for whatever reason.

    Game 200!

Congratulations. Big game vs the [censored] CATS. Could it be 3-in-a-row?
  20. He did bounce it once, it was after the bounce I thought he ran a few steps too far. Yeah, incorrect disposal, being tackled. Free kick Melbourne either way. Not Paid. Goal Port Adelaide.
  21. The Sydney game could well be a win at Manuka.
  22. All well and good with your post Akum. I have no problems with it. What I will say is this. The past two weeks is NOTHING to write home about. We've beaten a half-baked white flag waving West Coast and a pathetic and insipid team that is Port Adelaide. Yeah, some of our young recruits have shown something in Jurrah, Grimes and to a lesser extent Petterd & Jetta. But you put them up against a St.Kilda, Adelaide, Collingwood, WB or a Geelong, even an Essendon with the midfields and defenders they have and we wouldn't stand a chance. Football supporters and clubs in general, AIM high. IMO, we've got to aim high. By re-moulding our midfield we can get there quicker by getting the best midfielder available. You're right in saying that he no longer has to bear the weight of being our only hope. But wouldn't you just love the chance to grab an asset like there is in Scully? And wouldn't he accomodate the likes of what we have seen in Jurrah, Grimes & Watts with such excitement, such synergy, for the likes of you and me to enjoy? Go Dees HT. PS. Have you seen Scully play close up?
  23. Probably will not start to see the best of him until your year of domination Y_M......2011.
  24. Ox's heart still pumps red & blue. But it was a shocking non-decision. I thought at first Rodan ran too far.
  25. Fair assessment IMO.
