  1. After Bailey has mentioned that Robbo has been out of form the last couple of weeks.....it could well be on the cards.
  2. What? Please explain...
  3. Not if we were on 4 wins at that time. Maybe 90% of supporters of the AFL. Certainly not many at Melbournefc. There would be more reason for the club imploding than an improved profile of the club I can assure you.
  4. Like I said earlier I think in this thread, Jurrah and Watts will in a way be helping one another. Certainly the rise of Jurrah will take some focus or 'heat' as you put CB, off Watts. I like your term 'lethal forward combination'.
  5. I think it could be more interesting next year. With the GC's picks. Current teams will be lining up some of their possible options for GC in order to obtain one of their picks...
  6. Last night on Fox Sports News, Robbo said he dearly loves the club and wants to play on, acknowledged he was 30 but still persists that he has planty to offer. He also wanted people to know that he has come back from an achilles injury that prevented him from a pre-season. He's only now starting to feel great. would love to play on, is excited with the quality of players learning the ropes at Melbourne. Thinks that he can provide good service for another couple of years. Said if Melbourne preferred youth and wanted him to move on - he could understand that, yet would play on at another club if need be. He understands for the remainder of games this year, he would happily stand aside for blooding young players to help the club decide on things come the end of year. On the tanking issue, he see's if the footy department want to try players in different positions and do anything to find the right mix in order to win games whether it be for the remainder of this year or next year & beyond - he doesn't necessarily see it as tanking he see's it as finding the best list to go forward. He think's Bailey & Co. are doing whats right for the club and for the team moving forward.
  7. Just tune in on the Friday. Forget the other 4 days. In fact, better to tune in the last hour on day 5.
  8. TBTH, in another season where Bailey has been blooding youth and developing (ie short term pain), and the side is struggling with 3 wins - the same amount of wins as last year - H is right, who cares? Fwiw, the poll is shot without C.Bruce in it.
  9. A set of steak knives....
  10. West Coast is over 13% more than Melb. If Melbourne finish on 16 points they will have qualified for the priority pick. Like I said....
  11. Sydney will have a bit of support in Canberra. They also have alot to play for. Stranded on 6 wins, yet 2 games from eighth with 6 games remaining. I don't think they will have put the cue in the rack at all. They will miss Ted Richards.
  12. If we finish on 3 or 4 wins, I couldn't care less about the percentage. What will be will be.
  13. Yes, this part youami/Rogue. It is confusing.
  14. Good post. But I must say there is one minor error in my opinion. Darren Jolly has kicked on in Sydney.
  15. Percentage will be irrelevant BB. Who are the vets who are playing their last game?
  16. There is always the Richmond game available for a debut. If he holds his own, he can play in the Freo game too. If he does ok keep him in.
  17. I was referring to your list management strategy Nasher. Because I agreed with it, I thought well, you may as well coach. Thanks Jaded for the interpretation. You can be his assistant.
  18. Hey Nasher, what are you like in the coaches box?....
  19. You'll have to swear dee-luded in - Knight him/her in the customary way, won't you... Careful dee-luded might not relinquish the role on your return as they say...."when you see an opportunity - you take it" - maybe the FD should follow that motto
  20. Hang in there, Titan..

    The talented

Geez I feel much younger when you say that. Thankyou. :D
  22. Agree. Those that aren't excited - well, they probably haven't even seen him.
  23. LIAM Jurrah will be like Liam Jurrah. No one else. You cannot compare the deft touch, his marking and his ACCURACY with kicking with the likes of Riewoldt, Brown, etc. After 4 games, I'm tipping those players would actually look forward to watching Liam play footy themselves. In years to come other young up and comers will be compared to Jurrah. TBH they might not come in cooee of him.
