I have no doubt he'd be up in the top half a dozen in the B&F. If it weren't for his suspension and this weeks 'missed game' he'd be in contention to win the B&F undoubtedly. Poor response. The player's are the main factor. They're the one's who take the field, get the ball and kick the goals. They are the one's competing and determining the outcome of the game. The coach can make changes for positions, and yes can create different match -ups that may or may not suit, that could determine a result, but it's not the main factor. It's still 18 v 18 on the field.

They'll be fine without them. Fletcher is the one who's form doesn't seem to fluctuate and Hurley and Pears look as though they've already played 50 games each. Hurley actually looks as though he's played over 100. Lucas will not be missed, he's finished. McVeigh can be covered. They need to find a replacement for Lloyd - who will be hard to replace, one of the greats for their club. It is silly to write the Bombers off for 10 years. You may think otherwise.
