  1. I have a few mates who are Toigs supporters, they're actually filthy regarding their win over the Bombers. Now they want to win every game to the end of the season. Go figure..
  2. What does then hotshot, I mean hotgod? Is Davey topline?
  3. It will be Hannibal. Exciting even. I'll have a guess for now (more wishful thinking I suppose).... top 6 hopefuls for 2010: Jurrah Sylvia Grimes Davey Morton S_ _ _ _ y Others to impress: Frawley, Blease, Wonaeamirri, Garland, Watts, Spencer.
  4. Honestly, who even looks at Tim Lane?
  5. Correct. All depends how you interpret it. My interpretation is based on his performances to date this season. At Melbournefc he's considered 'in the top bracket of players' this season. I have no doubt he'd be up in the top half a dozen in the B&F. If it weren't for his suspension and this weeks 'missed game' he'd be in contention to win the B&F undoubtedly. Now it looks as though Davey could have it in the bag (Moloney out). I guess you're entitled to your opinion, hotshot.
  6. We've actually got 2 obstacles standing in the way of the Priority Pick in my opinion. They are Richmond and North Melbourne.
  7. Has this thread's classification just been upgraded to M15+?
  8. It just goes to show what Sylvia means to Melbourne and how far he has come now that posters and the like would prefer him playing for Casey at this stage. In all due respect I can understand Y_M's take, Sylvia had served his time before today. Top line players deserve better.
  9. You're on fire this week 45h, well summed up in this sentence of yours.
  10. I think leggin is pulling everyones leg. Welcome anyway Tiger. Sid Vicious is right as are others that have heard Scully speak. He will be committed to the club he joins whoever drafts him.
  11. Poor response. The player's are the main factor. They're the one's who take the field, get the ball and kick the goals. They are the one's competing and determining the outcome of the game. The coach can make changes for positions, and yes can create different match -ups that may or may not suit, that could determine a result, but it's not the main factor. It's still 18 v 18 on the field.
  12. They'll be fine without them. Fletcher is the one who's form doesn't seem to fluctuate and Hurley and Pears look as though they've already played 50 games each. Hurley actually looks as though he's played over 100. Lucas will not be missed, he's finished. McVeigh can be covered. They need to find a replacement for Lloyd - who will be hard to replace, one of the greats for their club. It is silly to write the Bombers off for 10 years. You may think otherwise.
  13. Akum beat me too it. Any chance the likes of Miller and Newton have been booked in for a clinic with Kevin Ball. They must be still in the queue. In all seriousness, that is great to read The Devil's Advocate is raising funds for such an initiative to get ahead of the pack. In relation to my tip, it's fair to say I'm a litlle nervous with this weeks tip. For those with good memory last time these two sides met I tipped the Dees to win by 8 points. And the Dees won by 8 points as history will show. Having watched the tigers humiliate the Bombers last week and with Cousins in full flight. The only notable omissions the Tigers have are Foley and Richardson. I'm expecting Jade Rawlings to do his homework. I think he's pretty good tactically. They are now out of the Priority Pick zone the Tigers, so nothing will stop them now. They can relax. Expect a free flowing game. I can't see the Dees kicking a score of more than 85 points. The Tigers will. Tigers by 27 points.
  14. I reckon it's been mentioned a thousand times over the last couple of months. Players don't tank. So how can they lose on purpose?
  15. When you have the likes of Hurley, Pears, Hocking, Neagle, Gumbleton, Ryder, and co in tow you cannot write them off over 10 years. Silly.
  16. Massive call on the Bombers. Agree with kangaroos.
  17. North Melb could be the greatest challenge. Richmond have form, North do not.
  18. That's what I thought too. He's still on the rookie list.
  19. ..'at times'?
  20. You're spot on. Her vision must be clouded.
  21. That's your opinion and your entitled to it. If you can see those things, I suppose we can expect no criticising of players coming from you in future then to stroke your ego. Indeed rpfc, indeed. PS. Don't humour me again champ.

    Twitter

This new twitter craze has seen Phil Hughes land in hot water for 'twitting' to his followers/friends of his non-selection in the national team 12 hours before the side was named to play England in last nights Test. I've noticed Nathan Jones twit that Matthew Warnock could be played up forward having been given a stint up forward at training. Could it be this new technology craze has an "apt name" for twits?
