  3. i've always suspected this. i've had metal objects in my pockets and it's never found them (unlike airline scanners)

  13. i don't know why you keep banging on about the acs. the are just an association representing chemistry professionals, not climatologists per se. they are just a professional body not a research institute. i had a look at their web site and publications they publish (on behalf of members) and didn't see much specifically on climatology, but a lot on normal chemistry stuff. nothing unusual for such a body to stick fat with the general scientific community on the agw issue especially as they are not specifically climatologists themselves
