  1. she never got into that detail. really, you are just looking for reason to be picky (not highlighting you) there is just too much finger pointing, blame gaming, interstate slanging off and blatant political point scoring. the country as a whole is really doing a pretty good job compared to almost any other country in the whole world. this whole covid thing is just such uncharted waters where there is no single best way to solve everything. sure things could have been done better some mistakes avoided and preferably less idiots amongst ourselves. every state has had a different mix of problems and advantages. I think all the goverments, state and federal, have done a reasonably good job to keep our statistics so low on an international comparison. a liitle bit more of a positive overall perspective and less obsessiveness over the nitpicky details would benefit us all sorry to rant, but the point scoring is really [censored] me off
  2. i think some here may be blowing up a bit what gladys was trying to say she was reiterating what the doherty report was saying to encourage her state to get vaccinated as quickly as possible to meet that threshold. Which is precisely what many people here have previously stated i.e. that a high level of vaccination is required to get back to some form of normalcy surely no-one here believes that we can stay in lockdown until covid is completely eliminated
  3. i'd imagine a lot of airconditioners in commercial premises haven't been getting regular usage and maintenance
  4. the afl have had a few days to review this, yet have said nothing publicly i'd expect they need to decide by cob today, cob tomorrow at the latest apart from sen article it seems the rest of the media don't want to touch it
  5. in this case he must have got the wrong aami carpark
  6. it's tom morris, wwsws.........he gets a lot wrong
  7. agreed....it's like turning the backyard dunny into a granny flat i reckon pea brain morris has confused sw carpark with se carpark......i do hope so
  8. i'm a thinking bs. that sw carpark area looks a stupid area has to be the se carpark right next to gosch's
  9. how? suspect it was our good buddy, tom? he even supplied the max penalties. very thorough is our tom....
  10. same here webber. was staying in cotswalds, drove to a pub in oxford in the wee hours to watch. all over by quarter time. only saving grace was not facing all the barbs back home and forgiving my wife for booking a holiday in finals month.
  11. jaisus wcw, that was 39 years ago 😲 i'm assuming you must have been a toddler then 😉
  12. yes, but in this case a state of the commonwealth can't issue visa for interstate travel a better example is if i visit certain countries that are hotspots for yellow fever and i return to australia uninnoculated then on arrival i am put into quarantine for 2 weeks and the airline is given a substantial fine. this nearly happened to me about 40 years ago. i ended up in venezuela after a business trip change and when leaving to go home from caracas, the local qantas agent (who wouldn't know australia from austria) wouldn't let me board because i hadn't had the yellow fever innoculation. the only reason i got picked up was a couple of weeks earlier some australian got back to australia uninnoculated and qantas got fined, so had sent out a strong warning worldwide to all their agents
  13. agree ethan, but something happened and colonwood clearly lied for some reason i'm not trying to exonerate majak either, just wondering why he did what he did
  14. because brayshaw was impeding/holding him? or something else? at least it looked like brayshaw was holding. in this case there seems no apparent reason, hence the questioning. i'm not suggesting the r word, just thinking it might have been something we didn't see
  15. i wonder what provoked majak, looked very strange........and a bit unsavoury with cox not even facing him colonwood might have toned down the incident description because they knew something preceded it?
  16. same difference, wcw ownership, mortgage, monopoly etc
  17. nsw don't have a mortgage on stupidity, as we are starting to realise
  18. i think this should be titled a hyperhypothetical 🙄
  19. personally couldn't care less.....unless it's us playing however, if i were geelong i'd rather at this stage be playing on the mcg as this is more the size of ground to win a flag on, rather than their skinny non-standard cardinia park
  20. bt thinks a high school is for tall people
  21. why does it have to be either......i'd rather neither it even rhymes
  22. if we hadn't drawn with hawks or if umps got it right vs crows first time for a draw at least......then it wouldn't matter if we lose to geelong (by not too much) we would finish on top by % or if the afl agreed error in cats vs lions game was paid..... umpiring howlers could cost us the minor premiership......gggrrrrrr!
  23. yes, i think the very best we could hope for is the finals teams....maybe.....organising scratch matches, but even that might be a bridge too far
