  1. I'm jumping on the Jeremy Howe bandwaggon Lots to excite here, a real X factor in the making. Imagine, Jurrah and Howe fireworks. And he looks a footballer's footballer rather than a manufactured athlete Go Jeremy, get stuck into pre-season, I want to see you up and about in Round 1 edit spelling
  2. Would love to be proven wrong this year, but I haven't seen anything to like about Maric so far. He was supposed to be a an elite kick and a goal shark but have not even seen a sniff in that dept so far. Like I said love to be proven wrong
  3. Do you ever open your eyes and read what is written? I didn't quote anything that wasn't a fact The basic facts are quite clear. WC simply handled the situation poorly. You are the only one overplaying the anguish. If you had read my last post I made it clear it was not a capital offence, just a comment that WC didn't handle it well. We all know the realities of AFL in the 21st century, but that doesn't excuse clubs when they act poorly No doubt you will continue to caterwaul, so I gift you the last say.
  4. I can not see one logical reason (apart from the fact he was a demons supporter as a kid ) to draft Ashley Hansen. I find it bizarre that we are even discussing it at this length Next topic
  5. As usual Rhino you TOTALLY miss the point The discussion had nothing to do with whether Hansen was washed up or not. It was just about how WC handled it. Its not a capital case, but it was just poorly handled Why you would defend a basket case club like WC is beyond me You have just speculated and added no facts to the discussion (whats new) I don't know why I even bother responding to a cyber bully like you
  6. It has nothing to do with what I know You were the one acting like a know-it-all and berating others I just responded to your predictable tough guy talk Its also a fact that the coach made unnecessary and damaging (to his prospects) comments when he didn't need to say anything other than thanking Hansen for his contributions etc and wishing him the best etc. So what if Hansen saw it coming or not, we are talkimg about how the CLUB handled it Anyway, carry on with your hardening up
  7. hope not what? testing to ensure you understood
  8. By not telling him before the draft that surely must have given him a glimmer of hope (even if fancuful) Yes, he deserved a bit of respect, being a premiership player Surely he could have been told at the end of the season, it can't have been a hard decision And whether he knew it was coming or not is surely irrelevant as to how the club handled it It may be a tough professional business but there is still a right and wrong way to do things Anyway, I couldn't give a rats clacker about Wet Toast
  9. So its OK to terminate someone badly (after the draft and bad mouth him) if you don't rate him. Its not a good look and totally unnecessary Nice to see you're all hardened up about it though.
  10. pukumani poles - desc and photos
  11. some simple alterations reverse the red and blue on the top then xtend blue to the waistline remove blue from top sox bingo - you've got it
  12. heard he chaved it cos it was too hot'n'sticky playing in Darwin

  15. If we did, would we become the "Dockland Demons" or the "Melbourne Dockers"????
  16. well lets hope he doesn't share a kitchen with morton
  17. dream on
  18. He turns 18 in 2012 (Apr) and is eligible for normal draft then GWS (only) can nominate some 17YOs (Jan-Apr birthdates) in 2011 To avoid this Viney can PRE-nominate as MFC F/S in 2011, but he doesn't actually get drafted till 2012 This make sense?
  19. One writeup I read (can't remember where now) claimed he had good defensive skills So maybe he is a Robbo who keeps his feet and can chase??
  20. I can't say with absolute certainty, but I think it is an AFL requirement that away strip always must have white shorts I don't understand why it must be so. The NRL for example allow certain teams to have coloured shorts with their away strips I agree coloured shorts for MFC away srips would go a long way to improving the look Have you tried emailing the AFL and/or MFC?
  21. I had hopes for Darling. Thought he might be a bit of a Brereton. Of course that depended on FD assessing his off-field stability. Seems they assessed it too risky. C'est la vie. Maybe Howe will provide some X factor?
  22. yeah, give him that one. could be a robbo who keeps his feet? Here's hoping. Looked a bit like modra in clips
  23. Sooo tempting rpfc. But I'll let it go thru to the keeper
  24. Actually, know him reasonably well. He's not a tool really, but I do think he is a bit of a Martian.
  25. Did anyone pickup Callum Sinclair?
