Why does this guy get to choose the club he would like to go to?

That's right - thanks. Can't believe I forgot that ... -

What's Tom McDonald's contract status? He's a required player, right? -
It's really disappointing this [censored] wants to leave the club. He is just such a good footy player when he's on song. Top 5 in the league IMO. I'd really hoped he'd return to the Demons in due course. We need good compo for this. Obviously.

Signed up seven kid members to the club yesterday. Three of whom were new-born sons of mates of mine - fathers all support the Crows. Get Danger and we've got these boys for life. That said, it'll be bloody hard to dislodge Danger from Adelaide. But everyone knows that. As an aside, and I've posted it before, but my son is the youngest ever member of this club. In its entire history. Signed him up as soon as I found out his sex and could give him a name - he was 20 week fetus at the time. His favourite player is Bernie Vince. Well, I reckon it is - he can't talk yet.
-
He's asking Lyon whether he can combine growing potatoes with playing at an elite level with Freo. Loyal country boy etc, after all.
-
Getting Roos is the best thing that's happened to this club during my lifetime. Would be massive to land Dangerfield, but sorry - it's not even on the same page as getting Paul Roos to this club.
-
This absolutely stacks up to me. It is also not inconsistent with what GNF has stated to date.
-
Roos and PJ are really starting to turn this club around. The manifest injustice of all of the things that have occurred in recent years will mean that success, when it is achieved, will be even sweeter. I have actually given up about caring about the unfairness. For the reason stated above, I almost like it now.
-
Bloody hell.
-
Anyone still think the loyal country boy will stay with the club? Geez there was some pathetic stuff posted on this thread a couple of months ago. Those posters should feel embarrassed.
-
Better analogy would be as much chance of him reading a book. And understanding it.

GRAND FINAL-WHO ARE YOU GOING FOR?
Ron Burgundy replied to Bobby McKenzie's topic in Melbourne Demons
I hope the Swans win because it'll drive another stake into the heart of the NRL. Sydney-siders are a fickle bunch, and love a winner. AFL's really gaining momentum up here, and a successful Swans team is good for the code IMO. Swans by 20. Kennedy to win the Norm Smith. -
As if Clarkson would say anything along those lines prior to a Grand Final in which he is the coach of another club, it also being a club which he is contracted with for another two or so years. Plainly ridiculous.
-
Pearce Hanley is exactly who we need off half back. I wanted us to have a big crack at him a while back. Would absolutely love to see him in the red and the blue.
-
I wonder if he feels any guilt at being paid so much more than many of his more talented/effective teammates.
-
Even though I subscribe to the view that we need mids, mids and more mids. Quality mids, that is. Have you heard anything about Tex Walker? Surely he's attracted to getting the two member boy-band back together, Vince Walker? Roos, Goodwin, Vince, draft picks, stacks of dough, living in Melbourne etc - it's got to be compelling for the Texan.
-
That just made my day a whole lot worse.

I still laugh out loud that he thinks he's an artist. And that he might one day get any credibility in the visual arts. This is the most delusional stuff I've heard in a very long time. So astonishingly naive. It's analogous to me playing kick to kick with a few mates at the park in Rushcutters Bay, Sydney. Nailing a few 'goals' from 60 metres out between some illusory goal posts that I imagine could be there. And then thinking I might get drafted in the first three rounds if I nominated myself for the national draft. Not going to happen.

Mitch is an awesome player. The best on our list. Doesn't mean he's much of a person though. His jail bait tatts always intrigued/concerned me. Particularly the cross on the hard bit behind his ear - I've only seen that one on bikies and known felons.

This would be ironic. I had heard we had Shoenmakers pencilled in at pick 17 in 2008, only for Hawthorn to take him at pick 16. We then picked up Blease at pick 17, who was thought likely to have been picked up by the Saints at pick 13. Bit of an impromptu selection. Instead, we should've simply picked our next choice after Shoenmakers at pick 17 - Luke Shuey. But we didn't. Shuey was then picked up by the Eagles at pick 18. The rest is history. We have made so many mistakes. Rookie mistakes. -
He realised he was never going to make it as an artist. And, in this respect, he was completely on the money.

Much prefer to have Danger in receipt of our 'Ambassador' payment over, say, Tom Scully. In fact, Sheedy has got off lightly on the Tom Scully piece. Very lightly. Lucky GWS had dozens of other first round picks. Hard to stuff them all up. As they say, if you fire enough arrows ...

It seems you may need help. Urgent medical assistance.

Has Goodwin actually started with the MFC yet? For instance, would he be one of the Demons' 'officials' Patty would be talking to - in an official capacity, that is?
