Trac... what a champ in the making.

Great memories of Lou..brilliant sense of humour. Will be missed.

Amazing what some confidence does to a team..frost on fire.

The deliberate was there, blatant hit over the line to reset with a throw in. Doesn't matter what part of the ground.

Is there a howling wind like when we played there to one end? Remember they blue us away in the first qtr and then we reversed it int he second. maybe the same weather conditions.

Interesting that all the highly ranked assistants to Malthouse collingwood era failed as senior coaches, whereas Clarkson's are thriving. I think that was the different leadership by both senior coaches. Clarkson seems to let people take control within his coaching structure, whereas Malthouse was his way or no way from what I know. Not all assistants can make it as a senior coach, but the AFL now recognise the value of highly skilled assistants that will remain within a club and make it successful, roles like senior assistant etc have been created. However in a different development environment would Neeld and the other ex-pies assistant performed better as a head coach?

I see no problem of his having some personal time with his mates. I imagine his father supported him having a day out with his friends. His development is coming long nicely and will be a valuable part of our finals campaigns. -
they seem to have done it again, poor north

i don't normally comment on the umpiring, but gee they are giving all to the pies. Missing blatant our then giving the same offence to the pies a few seconds later. Half to go though, -

That was written by a very troubled person who needs help. He is carrying around a lot of hatred and bitterness and this is coming out in his assaults and other incidents in his private life. Interesting the resentment at some clubs about players who set themselves high standards, some thing has happened to others such as Rockliff. In the past you would work to match them, it seems to today they resent them when they work so hard to succeed. -
He does need help. But I don't think its because he didn't make it in the AFl. I think his point was the level of care that as provided by the Tigers was substandard. That fact he singles out the person who was in charge of pastoral care says that person shouldn't be doing that job and it seems has been replaced. They also wanted to silence him which they know they screwed something up. Maybe he was just told to go suck it up by the administration.

Prestia wanted a Hardwick guarantee that they wouldn't sack him before he arrived at the club. http://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/afl-trade-period-deadline-jaeger-omeara-bryce-gibbs-brett-deledio-updates/news-story/f68ba781067a283010ebe758ba6f4543 I guess Hardwick is the reason he's there, whats happen when Hardwick gets the boot this year when they crash and burn again.

I think we could end up with both. But at what cost? Reported that our talks are continuing with the hawks over Lewis. More of an interesting week coming up.

If Hawthorn get Mitchell & O'Meara then ...

Article by Jonathon Brown addresses this issue. Simply players cant have it both ways. If they want choice, then clubs should be able to trade them as they see fit while under contract. http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl/jonathan-brown-calls-for-change-to-afl-trade-rules/news-story/743cec9d7b35e472757637f4bd339e39 -
I think the winning from 7th was the general bye with all clubs having a rest. Changed the dynamics of the finals and took way the advantage of the weeks rest. Interesting do see how it plays out next year.

ohhh cyril missed and fell on his arse... tragic.

Cant see the hawks getting back now.. too old to match the doggies run. .
-
how quickly it changes.. go doggies.
-
Simply control of the ball makes you look faster. We don't need a lighting midfield, but a couple of quick players and 'm sure we are looking. But by controlling the ball with great disposal and speed the ball will be faster than out foot speed. Its going the right way.

God game and happy the cats beat them...hopefully the doggies finish them off next week.
