Enjoying the girls live for a change. They look good except Harris, hopefully she changed boots at halftime… l lets secure top 2, big half coming up. -
Praccie game. Really confused on the Trac 50? Look like he was just frustrated with himself. but what 8 of them, plus the 6-6-6 rule breaches. Looked like player didn't know where they were going. What was obvious its going to tea more work to get our 2nd their players into the structure of the team. Looked like a lack of talk with multiple contesting the same ball. Can the weid take an overhead mark at AFL level?? Had 2 good opportunities and missed both. though I heard he played in Casey earlier in the day and kicked 4. But he's still dropping what he should take.

No, but the media love grabbing her almost every game to talk too due to her status. -
Bloody annoying they have the free game on at 4pm on weekday. Really hard to get there with the kids to watch the girls play after school being in freo.

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 07 vs Brisbane Lions

What a see-sawing game. Like other I have to say the umpiring on throws, holding and high are horrendous in most AFLW games, but this was the worst I've seen for awhile. It's like it was amateur night for the umps, on the decisions they made and missed (A lot more misses). Brisbane were on and should have put us away by qtr time, 2nd at the latest. Total pressure and controlling the game (Plus our continual fumbles, humility or pressure?). Only moving Daisy back gave us some structure and movement. But like all year, we reset and the second half we got on top. Was this because of a change in effort/attitude by the team. One hopes. But did Brisbane simply tire? Didn't seem so, they were still running well, but we had stepped up. Harris amazing, though she a terrible post game interviewee, not really much to say and always looks like a deer in headlights. (Needs media training). But her footy does the talking. As the odds for the same player after the siren, it was a nice off the boot but luckily outside her range. I wonder what was going through her head, like not again! But we have beaten a team in the top group and it was a well fought win in the end and should give the team confidence. -

GAMEDAY: AFLW Rd 4 vs Adelaide

chance to put a gap between us and the behind. Crows kill dus with pressure last year, saints did the same last week till we broke out. Been a trend this year with the top sides, suddenly breaking out in the last qtr to run away with it. The other teams can't seem to sustain he pressure for 4 qtrs. -
Menstration is a significant risk to injury. Went to a PD with eagles aflw team. (I coach junior girls) first day of period is the worst for injury, they do adjust demands on players to accomodate, yes in a game it’s harder. The period leads to softening of ligaments, amongst other effects. They also showed how it affects energy levels and performance over the cycle. Very interesting. They track the data and use energy peaks in the cycle to push development hard then ease off in other parts.

Excuse my French, but who gives a [censored] about 186, we just won the GF…

Thank you, I'll check it out.

The most annoying feature of kayo is when you join the telecast after it has started (usually out doing kids stuff) and it puts the bloody score at the top of the screen. I have to block that part of the screen with my hand so I don't see it. Does the same with the big bash games. Otherwise best thing for me in WA, can see every game on the big tv and not have to pay for all that other Foxtel crap.
-
Interestingly leading up to and after the GF, he was the focus of all the media for the bulldogs (Mostly likely by his flowing hair). The interest in him was intense, and that included his online activities. Not sure if its related, but wishing him the best and quick return to footy.

As a rookie to see if he has the character in our environment. But in his current environment, he looks like a player that has not clicked to what is required beyond talent.

I believe there is a large latent supporter base that has been out there but not active. In WA now I see kids wearing their Dee's jumpers to shops now, that didn't happen before. So we should see an active upswing. Giving away memberships is not a bad strategy. Membership is worth more than what we pay for them to the club. Like frequent flyers (Huge $ value for Qantas) is a known market that business can tap into. The argument is do we have really cheap membership and huge numbers or use them as a income stream as we currently do.
-
How would having him change our structure maybe for the worse given how it turned out? He made his choice and I'm sure it more than a footy decision giving the stage of his career.
-
Biggest non-football factor is on injuries and consistent message from the coaching staff. The coaching staff have managed to shoot the mindset of the players to a selfless games and how has it changed the team.

There's me. Last arm holding the phone above the cup :) (The bald head guy below my arm was a dickers supporter) Hopefully everyone had a good day today.

Thought the same, but he said in the interview the signal cut out, and it was when they handed him that phone he got the news. You see his excitement at that point. -
While I can't go, I got the email to buy tickets to the event today, an 1.5 hr after the tickets went on sale. Heard other people weren't getting email, that is pretty poor by whoever was contacting members. Hopefully everyone got their ticket and its a great experience.

Omens, we had so many last year, I don't think they'll ever be topped!
