Clarko to Norf
Good on Clarko, in no way would he go to bombers. Even for his reputation, its easier to look good and easier by bringing up the bottom side, like Roo's did with us. Whether they make finals within his contract is moot, he'll build a solid foundation and culture, as with appended with us. As for Rutten, He can't stay on how he's been treated by a separate club. The should do the right thing and pay him out, but not sack him. They obviously enough don't have any faith in him.

POSTMATCH: Rd 22 vs Carlton
A high pressure finals type game. We held up just... Jake Melksham seems to have his mojo back with consecutive games and that great Maybe that dinner fight was what he needed, to be told blunt to get his game together :) We played good footy for 4 qtrs against a side applying high pressure the whole game, the blues didn't stop but we stood up and there were not fadeouts late int he game. Fwd line needs some marking power back and kicking straight.

The Run Home
Basically win the last 2. Short term goal. The smokey game is the swans v pies this week for top 4 positions. You'd think the swans will win being in Sydney, but the pies just seem to find a way to win each week. Then that leaves blues/pies epic final round for the blues to try and win a spot in the 8.

Josh Kennedy
His knee is stuffed, hence he won't play another game this year (as reported) including the derby. Great last game from a champion forward.

NON-MFC: Round 21, 2022

Farewell Sam Weideman
They think of Taberner over here, what we think of Weid, morning sports radio and about how quickly they need to dump him. How he had 1 okay season and hasn't performed since. They dislike his lack of effort etc.
-
Farewell Sam Weideman
Yes. all forwards get their colours lowered, he's a great defender,, but this in not once in a while, it's a consistent pattern across multiple games over years.
-
Farewell Sam Weideman
That happens to all forwards, it's part of the game, you learn to combat it with experience and effort.
-
Farewell Sam Weideman
From what I saw on TV, woeful. It's really his lack of effort after the first contest, he just stands around and gawks at any ongoing contest and then eventually puts some half hearted effort. He doesn't have the competitive desire or mongrel, that you can't teach. The only exception was his contested mark, I think his first possession of the match.

The Run Home
Assuming we beat the dogs, the free game is the most important. Away in Perth, though though the dockers have been playing better away than at home, mental thing. Hopefully they don't fix that before next week. All the games are winnable and its good to have a hard run into finals to condition the team to those conditions. In saying that we can manage the team better in terms of loading etc, due to the work we have already done. Teams like pie/blues have to out maximum effort in every week to maintain their position, can they sustain that and not enter the finals exhausted. Same with the cats, an easy run home is not good prep.

Yze to coach GWS?
At least GWS are approaching lots of assistants at the moment. They have had a few declines already.
