Absolutely. He's a work horse and the grunt work he will do should give nicer looks to JVR & Fritsch.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 6th December 2024
I believe there is a spot for Sharp on the wing. He will be fighting with Bowey, XL & Woey for that role. Jed Adams for mine probably isn't quite at the level and I was surprised the club re-contracted him so early. Happy to be proven wrong. Tholstrup would be an on-field starter in the 18. Everything he does is with intent. His defensive efforts in the front 50 are infectious. Second ruck will be Aidan Johnson.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Friday 6th December 2024
Observations: Woey's physique is seriously impressive. As big an off-season change as I can remember seeing. Not that he was in poor shape to begin with, however, impressive gains! A lot more hand balling and lateral movement through the middle. Less kick in hope and reliance on territory only. Windsor with the backs. Adds class to our ball transition. Radford involvement has increased. Seems to have a lot of say in game plan/tactics. Kentfield & Fullerton focus areas are their one touch with marking. Jonesy brings the group in between 25-33 closer together.

Farewell Judd McVee
I thought Mcvee was going to re sign for 2 years.

PRESEASON TRAINING: Wednesday 4th December 2024
Does he have anxiety around it? a 2KM time trial is not always a the only indicator of running ability, particularly in this game where patterns (IQ) are as important as aerobic reach.

The Roy George Thread
I’ve got a personal connection to Roy as well and that’s the common theme - he’s a top guy who is jovial and engaging but willing to work super hard. Comes from a broader friendship group of Kozzy which can only be a good thing them both having Roy at the club currently.

Melbourne Football Club - The CEO
the ~80 thousand dollar desk. I've heard the names Stuart Fox & Sam Graham mentioned as leading contenders.

Club announce $1.65M loss
From the financials. An operating profit is very different to an reported profit.

Great video with our two new boys! Good to know they'll both have a buddy early on.

2024 List and Contract Details
Can we rookie Yze today? Surely we do. There’s a player in there. A nice project.

Welcome to Demonland: Aidan Johnson
Reminds me a lot of Mitch Clark. Absolutely worth a look with such a late pick.
- Welcome to Demonland: Harvey Langford

2024 Player Reviews: #23 Shane McAdam
Shane McAdam is a fantastic person. If Adelaide is a world away from Halls Creek, then Melbourne is another planet. I hope the break back in Halls Creek has refreshed him for another tilt at it. I know he did some training with Ash Johnson Jy Farrar and Bobby Hill - which is at least something. I’d like to think we are a club who support our own when they’re down, and that should extend from the 1st player to the 45th.

Assuming we keep 5 & 9, who are you picking?
The mail is that JT is a big fan of Hotton and that a knee reco in his draft year wouldn't necessarily be a deterrent. This being said, I was told we'd draft El Hawli in the mid season.

Results of Club Reviews
The skills in the age group in which he's work with are quite strong. McVee, Bowey, Rivers, Windsor, Pickett, Woewodin. To my eye the skill execution deficiencies lie with Viney, Oliver, Trac (At times), Lever, Gawn and Hunter.

Maintains a fantastic relationship with all players and staff, performs role of development coach very well, specialising in skill/decision making areas and has an overall positive influence on morale, ethics. 👍

Gary Pert Quits as MFC CEO
Wish him well. Delivered 21. Made slight progress on facilities. Financials are strong. Culture is not and that’s sword any organisation lives or dies on.
