Yeah I agree and I think Chandler will be a solid player but Bedford has some really elite tricks. I love watching him play. Hopefully he kills it tonight.

How did the powers at the club ever think that Chandler would become a better play than Bedford? I don't mind Chandler but Bedford's speed around the ball is elite. He will go to another level with GWS next season. It's a huge loss and one that we could of easily avoided.

Anyone know an assistant out there who can teach strategy and ball movement into the 50? Caracella is known to be one and I've heard Jason Davenport at GWS has been huge in this space. We really need someone in this space.

I actually think the opposite. He doesn't have the balls to drop his favourites and he doesn't have the balls to select a wildcard (AMW, Woey, Grundy). Bevo isn't that.

Completely agree about Woey. He could not of played any worse than Jordon, McDonald and Chandler. You know he would of at least once hit a target in the forward line.

It's a risk assessment for Jake and the club. One year - get the knee right, assimilate back into the senior team late in the season and see how it looks. I'll back him in. Faced adversity his whole career given supplement scandal, redefining his position and now the knee.

The knee is one thing but it's important to think about the bigger picture than just Melksham's age. His conditioning is elite. He has the lowest body fat percentage at the club and his ability to take care of his body, diet and recovery is second to only Clayton at the club. His role relies on smarts more than speed. There were no signs of him slowing down prior to Round 23, in fact it looked the opposite. I'm not advocating for a two year deal but I do believe if any players conditioning and physical attribute belies their age, it is Melksham.

Happy with Tommo's inclusion in the hope it does free Lever. I am flat about No Woewodin. In the minority obviously but I love what he brings with his kicking.

Maybe so but his ball use seperated him from our current average wingers/ half forwards. When the heat was on against Brisbane in a finals like game, he nailed a running shot from 40. I'm not seeing many others capable of this at the moment.

I second this. Neither he nor Hunter really penetrate. Compared to Daicos and Sidebottom, they looked out of their depth at the finals level.
