Remedy Kombucha wanted to come on board but couldn't meet financials and have since signed with North.

Training - Friday 10th February, 2017 at Olympic Park

You have hit the nail on the head with ANB. When a young midfielder exceeds expectations at VFL level, the step up to AFL standard is huge but you see signs. I don't see him as having any standout feature except for his endurance which is rather wasted unless you are at least a rotating mid. Wish him all the best. Not sure there's something there he can make himself famous for. -
Billy Stretch is an unheralded decision maker and skill executor. The boy runs in straight lines - i love him!

Gawn Jones Watts Viney Tyson T. McDonald. Unlucky 7th Oliver.

The ball use of Harmes today gives plenty of hope that he could become the polished ball user we are lacking in the back half.

It's a big day for.. Vandenberg. He is our X-factor with his size and clean hands.

0 last quarter possessions. Goes missing when the game is there to be won. Not good enough.

Still very young. Playing Brisbane is good exposure. Long term thinking.

6 - Bugg 5 - Stretch 4 - Petracca 3 - Hogan 2 - Jones 1 - Vince. Set the tone early, first 10.
-
Stretch 31 disposals, leading possesion getter on the ground. No one predicted his rise would come so quick.

Viv was good. Smart ball use and intercept marking as mentioned above. With Jetta out, he stays for mine.

It is, to me, no coincidence that the turn around in this football club has come since this man came on board as Pres. He isn't a strong media player and thus hasn't received the plaudits he is due. We are quick to acknowledge PJ's efforts, however, this man shouldn't be forgotten in providing strong leadership and solidarity for the MFC. Long live the Pres.

Out: Hunt - Out of his depth, his running patterns don't allow him to use his speed and he can't anticipate when to leave his man and hunt the footy. No pun intended. He'll develop nicely at Casey. Frost - His athleticism is great. Needs to work on his ground balls and clean hands down at VFL level. Salem - Just for a rest. In: Trengove - He's done enough. Miles are in the legs and he brings experience to the team. I'd rather have it in Trenners hands 10 times than most others 15-20. Oliver - Clean hands, handballs set players free. Michie - Reward for effort. Play him off half back and see if he can match Salem's output.

Hunt looks as out of his depth as i've seen from an AFL football in years. Unfortunately.

Montagna off for the Aints. Ice on the hammy. Good signs.
-
Oliver kicks his first goal in footy to put us in front and 3 players get to him. 'Culture'
-
The quiet achiever - Neville Jetta. Plays it simple, tough as nails and doesn't waste a posession. Knows his limits!
