PLenty of All australian U/18's have not made it in the AFL See David Gourdis key Position player AA at U/18 level 3 years ago for WA touted as top 20 pick went to Richmond as a rookie never to be seen again What makes average forwards look good is a gun midfield kicking it down their throat, Gourdis had Morton, Masten and Palmer, Mooney has ablett, selwood, corey, Bartel Panos had Trengove and Tapscott who would have hit him up from half forward. Beauty is Trengove Tapscott and Morton are now demons, we are buliding a team of gun midfielders , adequate tall forwards are all we need and we have more than adequate forwards in Jurrah, Bate , Watts future is looking good

I know he is a Victorian and Demons man but thank god, I have become sick of his whinging everytime someone sticks i mic in front of him Truth is he was not up to test or 1day international level. Other that that 200 against S.Af in which he was dropped 4 times he was very ordinary in all the other tests he played and never looked comfortable at that level. He got enough one day oppurtunites at one day level and failed , one tour of india sticks out in particular could not handle the pressure and failed everytime he batted thanks for all you have done for the vics, but the hard done by tag he carriers with alot of cricket supports in this state is wrong imho

The person I felt for most apart from us idiots that watch the coverage is Shifter Sheehan The man lives for this day , knows everthing about every player, strengths weakness, family history, what the clubs want etc. He would have had detailed notes on every player waiting for his chance to show his stuff poor bastard got stuck on a panel with dunstall lynch etc talking about back in the day and anything but what was going on. even worst for him he had his back to the action you could tell he was [censored] off he looked like virgin who finally thinks he is geting some action and then his only rubber breaks

On 10 news Tonight they showed Footage of trengove looking around at Casey. I didn't catch the whole thing but they interviewed him briefly and he was talking up the dees as a up and coming team with great youth then they showed some sturt highlights the guy is a gem We all already knew it was a lock but it got me excited

Totally agree, would have loved to see them speak to people who grew up with LJ , had something to do with his early football, & given us more background on LJ's journey.
