  1. This one comes up every year. Considering his output was nil this year, I wonder why bother to mention it.
  2. There is only 13 days to go until the end of trade week. So for those of you who want to propose trades or discuss rumoured trades, hurry up time is a wasting.
  3. People have to understand that there is only one constant at a club and that is the club itself together with its history. Having read the sun this morning I am disappointed in Robbo's comments, if they are in fact his. He is not tarnishing the club, only himself. His comments would not endear him to other clubs. He should adopt the stance of so many others before him at all clubs and get on with life.
  4. The list will have been turned over by more than 50% in two years. I believe that has never been done before by any club. When we all argue who should go that means that there are no obvious people to delist. Unlike the list he inherited, our current list goes all the way to the last player on it, as we have seen late in the season. Even the bottom end players can play AFL to some degree. Even some of our rookies coped well enough at senior level. No need to regurgitate the names of the exciting players we have added, we all know them. In the coming seasons the rest of the AFL will get to know them as well. Late in the season with half our list unavailable we still won some games and had to " experiment" to ensure draft picks, as the actual style of football being played was good enough to nearly win, despite the circumstances. How would we go with a full list, including the class players that are about to be added? Much better I believe. Next year we will see a very competitive side that will get better in the coming seasons and hopefully challenge for a flag soon.
  5. Isn't he 193cms and as raw as an uncooked sausage?
  6. And a great finals player as well.
  7. I don't want to bag Robbo as I don't like bagging players but hasn't he answered the question himself? He says he has only a 5% chance of getting picked up by another club. Well if 15 other teams don't want him, then maybe he can understand why we don't.
  8. Great, we have gone from bagging players to slandering their wives/girlfriends. Hope you are proud of yourself.
  9. Next Visy ambassador for environmentally friendly hairstyles.
  10. Yes please. Don't care. Great. No way. Pick 22 if we could get it is not needed for another small forward with injury concerns. I still think Lynden can make it.
  11. Hope he is right. It will quell some misplaced angst.
  12. Brock gone, Everitt may be closer. Not sure about Burgoyne, he may choose Hawks or Dons where Lovett could be in the deal. With 4 picks inside 18 pick 18 may be tradeable.
  13. When you say "we" do you mean the MFC or you. It may be the case that Brock was offered a lot more than we would pay and that the pick offered was seen as necessary to get a certain type of player needed more than Brock. It probably also makes two mids for 1 & 2 a certainty. 11 will get us a tall forward. 18 might even get us another like Everitt.
  14. Agree. He had lost weight and looked very fit. He played on ball and had a fair bit of it and I was getting excited and then injured. Think he would do well playing at the feet of LJ with short stints on the ball.
  15. Then again on the footy show last thursday Hutchy said Pendlebury will play, end of story. PS. I tape the footy show, fast forward to Hutchy and get the goss and then delete the whole show. I can't watch that crap.
  16. The more I see, hear or read about JT, the more I like Jordan McMahon. He could arguably go down in history as the player who did the most for the MFC without ever playing for us.
  17. Agree. Might join his brother. They are chasing everyone else who can kick a footy, even girls according to the president.
