  1. You might as well stop pussyfooting around and tell us what you really think of him.
  2. There is nothing inconsistent there. You can accuse somebody of something among a number of accusations and they can admit to one or more of them. To then say they were accused is still correct even if they have admitted it.
  3. And if he had chosen Melbourne, would he still be a manipulative ass, a disgrace and hated? PS. The subsequent decision of the MRP "is" reflective of his actions if the 2 weeks suspension quoted is correct.
  4. Let me start by saying that Judd is one of the best footballers I have seen. He would also be generally accepted as a ball player. However the anger on this site directed towards him I believe comes from his turning his back on the Dees and taking the bucks offered by my most hated team, clearly not because he is a "dirty player". Obviously Dees fans have long memories, though I suppose it wasn't actually that long ago that he shunned us. He has been accused on this thread of being an eye gouger, a pressure point manipulator, a liar, a mercenary, a participant in salary cap rorting etc. Do you think that we should all just wait for a few hours to see what the Match Review Panel do and given all of the publicity, one would think they will do something. Then maybe we should all draw breath and accept the fact that he is a great player and that he has the right to take the best offer and secure his future just like every other sportsman or employee. PS. I was also extremely disappointed he chose them over us, but I believe that the side effects of that decision will ultimately work in our favour. We did not lose any high draft picks or top players getting him. IMO that will work in our favour. Also if he played for us this year and last would we be looking at 1 & 2 this next draft day?
  5. Was on TAC Cup stars on channel 9 today. Acquitted himself well. Says he is 195 cms and hopefully still growing. They showed a few highlights of him and he is quick, a long kick and can take a big grab. I have seen a lot worse. He could have a lot of upside. He has come from a hard background and could be a tough kid mentally and physically. Football is a way to secure a good future for him and I am sure he would give it his all. All we need to know is if " his all " is good enough.
  6. Me too. I was at a function last night with a lot of Carlstink supporters and watched the last 10 minutes with them. I then started singing the Lions song and was not a popular person I can assure you. However, I loved it.
  7. Sarcasm becomes you. If some get there way on here we will become the rubbish dump of the AFL.
  8. Not having a go at you, but more a generalization. You confused a possible Number 2 pick with someone else. He did nothing in the game. You then say he is not as bad as some people on here have made out. Meanwhile many posters are saying he has to be pick number 2. Oh dear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. Me? While it is great for everyone on here to have their opinion on everything, I take the recruiting of players posts very lightly. I think most would agree that that the majority know very little about the potential candidates and act off headlines or the posts of the most vocal. I attended the championship at Etihad this year and last and readily admit that gives me very little to base an opinion on. I don't see the weekly games or speak to the boys. This is all fun guessing who we will take in the draft and trade, but when it is all said and done I have faith in the guys charged with the task of building the list. Our list by the way is in the best condition I can recall in the last 40 years. There is so much talent with more to be added that I can see years of success coming our way. Thankfully, our future off the field is looking healthy as well.
  10. Bailey has said that he only wants skilled players.
  11. Hang around, there will be plenty more rumours to come before trade week ends. Guess what, 99% of them are just that.
  12. You agree with me. IMO his behaviour was disgraceful and if you accept the account in the Hun today he deserved nothing less than an instant fine and a severe warning about any repeat act. His language was clearly audible to those nearby as he was yelling out to Lloyd. Pathetic from a senior coach.
  13. Disagree. He has some value. What would you say if he kicked 5-6 in the final tomorrow for Casey? IMO he still has a small chance to make it in the AFL but next year will be the last one.
  14. Suspended fine, a slap on the wrist with a feather.
