I know I will get howled down for this, but I don't rate Prestia as highly as others on here and more to the point, don't see him as one of our major needs. I think we need more outside pace and I don't think he is that. We also need another key back and a second ruck. If the Tigers offer to Hurley is correct, I would imagine they would win a bidding war with us, if he leaves the Bombers, as we have a number to satisfy. I can see the Tigers letting a few go to make a fair bit of room in the cap. I would be looking carefully at the GWS talent pool, as they have plenty not getting a game.

Sorry boys but a footy comment. With Jetta out, ANB is a certainty and Salem goes back to HBF. Kent if fit plays and one more out maybe Michie. If Dunn comes back you would think Garland out.

I agree with others that I thought Vince and Pedo would go. The Jetta one is pathetic. It is an instinctive arm thrown back to ward off someone coming at him. To give it the same as a deliberate punch is a joke. However, we won't want to risk two and will take it and give him a week off to freshen up. ANB and Kent if he is fit will come in and Salem can go back.

Don't think we will go for Hurley unless he is a free agent.

Pedo could get a week as well for a head high bump. If not, he shouldn't be dropped, after one poor one.

Doesn't matter where you stand if the guy with ball fumbles or kicks or handballs away from you. This was very similar to the Saibts game. Guys run forward with belief in their guys to get possession and then deliver properly. Shocking umpiring again didn't help but they served to win clearly.

I think the speculation is affecting him.

The AFL has clearly instructed the broadcasters to not highlight contentious decisions, as they have refused to replay any of the ducking frees or the throws. It is pretty obvious in the broadcast.

This game is being won by clean possession and better skill on disposal. End of story.

You turn it over you lose, simple as that. When they get it they charge forward and kill us with loose men. The answer is to get possession and then keep it until you score. Our general play has been good.

That's twice he has been concussed in the opening of a game. The third time he barely lasted a quarter when a ball was kicked into the back of his head. Unbelievable luck. I hope they give him a month off.

We are on the road to being a successful club on field, being a destination club, successful financially and re earning the respect of the AFL football community. It so heartening for all the long suffering loyal fans.

His season is turning into the nightmare 2nd season from hell. Might need a few games off to get freshened up and recover.

The bloke who went to GWS, got about 3 times the yearly salary we would have contemplated for him and a 6 year contract. That is nowhere near the difference it could be here, if money was the sole factor. Also at that time the whole club was crap. Now we are a far better club and team.That bloke seemed a bit aloof from his team mates, JH is one of the boys and has some great friends in the team. There is also the little fact of an 8 hour return flight every second week for a bloke who has lost a year already with back issue. As someone said above we also have great coffee.

In previous years he would have been in. We are however a stronger side this year. He will get his chance. Besides JT a former captain, who is on the comeback trail, we have another former Captain, who like ANB is playing good footy, but can't get a look in. Good sides have good players in the reserves.
