  1. I wonder if Roos has said we must get a PP if he is to agree and the AFL have agreed and tried to soften the blow with Gillon's statement, recently. Then again conspiracy theories could be just that.
  2. I keep hearing from different people, that we have Roos as Coach next year. Not sure if they are all peddling the same rumour or have knowledge. Each time I ask for the source, it is just, "that is what I have been told."
  3. Interesting times ahead.
  4. What did he say?
  5. There is no doubt BANANA.
  6. Obviously I am not expecting us to beat the Swans but I think we will play better for the rest of the year. It is clear that a weight has been lifted off the player's shoulders and as many of us said, our performances were too bad to be true. the main thing I hope that happens is that Craig perserveres with the younger and new players and gives them games. That said I want Byrnes at Casey. On Rodan's game saturday he deserves another couple.
  7. Need I say banana?
  8. I think our performances will be improved to the rest of the year. It will be interesting to see how the AFL reacts and which way they go as to player assistance, if any. As I have said before, money itself will not solve the onfield performance. Coaching, recruiting and development will all play their part.
  9. Feeling pretty happy with myself, for continuing to pump up Fitz's tyres, while others bagged him. I think he will make a player for us and one who is versatile and hard to match up on. Dermie was impressed with him last night.
  10. I hate to admit this but went for eggs while there was banana bread on the menu. I feel ashamed of myself. BTW the eggs were great.
  11. Will advise after breakfast.
  12. I am hoping for Port to win, to put a break on the Blues and for the Pies to then smash the Blues next week. Love to see them finish ninth.
  13. Usually is. I think the icing has cheese in it, believe it or not.
  14. That's like going on a date with a very pretty girl and she cancels, but sends her friend, who looks like Ben Hur's avatar, instead.
  15. You are calling the Queen a d1ckhead, are you?
  16. And have racehorses.
  17. I can't see AFL helping us with money and not on the field with some draft help. If we continue to perform on the field like this year we will need more money. I t just makes sense to help us on the field as well. I could also imagine a Coach coming to us would want an AFL guarantee of some help on the field as well. As mentioned in other threads it doesn't have to be a PP. It could be a mini draft type of help with say two picks we have to trade. That could get us some experienced players and an extra draft pick or two in this years draft without compromising the draft.
  18. Smart guy that Oracle.
  19. I believe there are some banana chips on special at the supermarket .
  20. Any of you guys love guitar? You tube Santana - Jungle Strut and Gary Moore - Still Got the Blues for You.
  21. I don't understand why it wouldn't cost other clubs much, when the best player or two is removed from the next year's draft.
  22. It is starting to look like we are facing an orchestrated opposition by the other clubs to stop us getting a PP pick. If the AFL agrees I hope we go as hard as hell for a couple of mini draft picks that we have to trade away. That could be better than a PP anyway. We would get more than one player for a start.
  23. I can't stand to look at Rudd. He is a truly despicable piece of work. I would love to see him lose his seat. Funny, so many of his colleagues think the same as me. Mark Latham, who is also an interesting character, said that "the only people who like Rudd, are those who haven't met him." Anyway, back to the footy and bananas.
  24. Julia Gillard could be available for a job with the MFC in a few minutes.
  25. There is no doubt absolutely none that the drug was declared illegal in 2010 or 2011. What I think they will base their defence on is not that the drug wasn't declared illegal, but rather that we can't be certain that is the drug they were given. In other words they admit they were going to use it, but they can't be sure that is what they got. I can't see that getting up. As far as the AFL is concerned the club will be slammed and the players will escape penalty. That is different to ASADA who will seek to ban any users, no matter what they thought of its illegality.
