  1. It's easy when you don't try.
  2. Jimmy is " DEVELOPING" . We will see a much better player after another injury free pre season.
  3. We are being showed up today by a strong skilful great wet weather side at their home ground. Not playing Rodan in these conditions was a big mistake.
  4. Broad is following in the family footsteps. His father chris broad, refused to leave the wicket after being given out, in a match in the mid eighties. Graham Gooch had to walk down the pitch and tell him to leave. Given the obvious dismissal, young Broad's performance was extremely poor. It is one thing on LBW's and disputed catches, to wait for the umpire, but when you know you are clearly out, you don't cheat. His performance was pathetic. Sadly it looks like the Poms will win this test, unless we bat brilliantly in the 2nd innings.
  5. Would like to see Taggart and Tynan get a run before the season ends. They both need the experience and the encouragement to strive harder.
  6. It has to be his farewell game against his old side. Not sure he is good enough to make the Casey side.
  7. I know Davis is not a great kick, which is a pity because I think he has some ability and can play at either end of the ground. It will be interesting to see how the new coach evaluates him.
  8. Hard to argue against that.
  9. Rodan has shown enough to get another year.
  10. I forgot Troy Davis, but I think they will keep him for another year. He is a big strong boy who is hard at it and if he can improve his kicking, is a chance.
  11. Is this what Kevin Rudd feels like?
  12. Being brutal, I can see Byrnes, Gillies, Jetta, Bail, MacDonald, Davey and possibly Sellar and Strauss leaving/retiring and maybe Jamar being traded. I think Pedersen stays another year as he is contracted for 2 more. Byrnes I would pay out and offer him a year at Casey playing/coaching. If we were offered a mid for Tapscott I could see him going. I think we will make at least 8 changes to the senior list.
  13. He would be better off holding Gillies hand as he can't play either. Pedersen at least has shown a bit especially at Casey.
  14. Doing what?
  15. Unfortunately you are not.
  16. Ok then lets ramp it up. I want Byrnes out of the side forever. This might be his farewell game back at the cattery.
  17. Is that Robbo's new band?
  18. I'll stick to my banana smoothies and banana dacquiries.
  19. Must confess I have never had a glass of scotch in my life, so I wouldn't know about the different ones. Most I have had is a small sip, once or twice.
  20. Don't forget his cousin Johnny.
  21. The 2 weeks for the elbow by Mckernan is an absolute disgrace. A thug act. Sheahan OTC, said as much and said the 3 weeks given to Spencer, for standing still and being run into, was wrong.
  22. Really, not even with ice cream and chocolate sauce.
  23. Interesting as to who is the Coach of GWS. Phil Davis said he will get back when Leon picks him in the side.
  24. It just staggers me that the person we lost to GWS, who gets $1.2m per year, is such a poor footballer, yet completely escapes media scrutiny. I am convinced the media have been told to lay off him. Our Jack Watts gets hammered from pillar to post by the media, yet he is at this moment a loyal footballer who every club would take, before the other bloke, given the choice. He is also not on Ablett like pay. The GWS player can't kick, is a poor mark and again from what I saw today, is basically scared of getting hurt. When Dahlhaus outmarks you when you have the better position, you need to have a long hard look at yourself. This bloke also missed a sitter when GWS needed him today and his shot never even went close. We are the luckiest club in the AFL to have had him taken from us and then given the chance to get Hogan, Dawes and Barry for the compo. I wouldn't swap Jesse's left sock for him. Enjoy your money fella, you are the luckiest footballer to ever play AFL.
  25. WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
