I am a proud man, having started the greatest thread ever on Demonland. Over 20000 posts across 800 pages and over 360000 views. We are on our way to 1000 pages and 500000 views and 30000 posts and not one fight the whole time. Hopefully other threads will aspire to the high standards we have attained throughout. Lastly, for those who think we don't mention enough football, I say "sherrin and faulkner".

I am getting more confident that we are becoming a club that players won't want to leave, unless they are not getting a game.

There was a post where someone said that they knew a recruiter from another club, who thought ANB could be one of the steals of his year. As with Hunt, Harmes, etc, some players need a bit of time to get the body right, the attitude right, the confidence in place before they can produce their best. I think Stretch and ANB could become very good players for us.

Your analogy about first to the ball doesn't hold, as we won in a 12 goal thrashing, while Dogs and Crows were even and that would suggest they were both hard at the ball. I don't think in any game in the last 10 years against the Dogs, have we come close to their frees.

I think Tyson doesn't take the first option and gets caught far too often. Hopefully that aspect of his game improves. I am a Salem fan and maybe I was a touch hard in that assessment ATM, but I don't see him as a tough player, in the way I see, say Hodge, Bartel, Ziebell, etc, but yes they are much older and more experienced. He will become a very good player for us. The player I am getting very excited about, who is yet to play, is Weideman. If we keep Jesse, the two of them could cause havoc.

Not me. First time this year we have had more frees. We did win by 12 goals, so you could say we were first to the ball. Do you remember the game at West Coast a few years back, where the frees were about 24 -1 against us, at half time? It didn't improve in the second half either. Not that we would have won. But 3 players were stabbed, 4 choked , 2 hit with a pick handle and 3 shot and no free. Yes it was that bad. Anyway we have to live with umpiring.

Except that, the umpire yelled holding the jumper, Gawn was in front and not holding the jumper, Goldstein kicked a goal and they won by 3 points. Goldstein later ran through the points with the ball, out again and kicked a goal. Waite and Thomas ducked and acted to get, poor, too high frees and then kicked goals. Bernie Vince was paid deliberate for a handball, a bit high, to two team mates and Gibson goaled. Harmes took a clean mark 20 out and was not paid. Stretch in the final seconds, was run into, front on, while going for a mark, by Thomas and no free. And did I say, that they won by 3 points?

If he smart he would sit where he is. Comfy and little criticism.
