I agree we paid overs, but we have a very good footballer added to our side and as I said above, we can now move on and do other deals. Even the Bombers seem to have paid overs for Smith, but they also can now move on to other deals.

He actually played well in the ruck, not so much in actual ruck work but in his follow up. He became another mid and that would have earned him votes and credit from the coaches. It did not hinder his votes playing in the ruck it helped him.

Is this guy worth a look if not too expensive. He was a number two pick so must have talent. He may have been unsettled up north. He can develop for a year or so and put on muscle. He is big and mobile at 199 cms and 96kgs and would be insurance for Hogan, Tom Mac and Weid. With JW going, another mobile forward would not go astray. Could also develop as that ruck/forward.
