  1. Recounting Goodwin's comments when Tom was kicking goals up forward and coupled with his constant bloopers down back and the fact that JW is probably going, I agree with you.

Thank God. I would have blamed JW if they were more expensive.

Are you serious? The first one was a repeat of the Staker hit. I would have given him a year. PS. On second look, victim not really hurt and claim it was a slap. Maybe not a year then.

Would have thought he would have got a year for those two hits.

I wish. Mine are mostly like my footy team, they miss out on the big ones and don't win too often. Has Dusty won yet?

Almandin to go two in a row.

    Less than 2 months.
  8. It would have been a massive improvement on our previous recruiter.
  9. You are right, he doesn't have to be the banana in the banana smoothie, he can be the cinnamon sprinkled on top.
  10. If we are a good team Watts is the icing on the cake. He doesn't need to be the flour or the eggs etc. He is the best finisher in the side. We need that. Who would you rather shooting for goal than Watts, in our side. I agree on keeping him as we will be better off with him when we are a good side, than having another mid draft pick that may get us another player that can't do what he already can. He was not to blame for the last round and people need to look at who was. For starters look at Garletts non efforts, Tysons 6 turnovers in the first quarter, several one arm tackle attempts , Bernies passing, Tom Mac's game etc.
  11. Wasn't Jake Kelly on the Pies list, or at least rejected by them as a father son.
  12. I don't think you can play Bernie and Lewis in the same team, as they are both getting very slow for today's game.
  13. No not his worth, his cost. Think we are all excited to hopefully get him. Just hoping he doesn't cost too much.
  14. Don't disagree, but it probably goes to the discussion between the clubs as to his value. Anyway he will be a great addition to our list if we get him .
  15. Fair point.
  16. Interesting thing would be to go through their side and see where Lever is rated. I doubt he would be rated in their top 10. As an example start with the Crouch's, Sloane, Tex, Sauce, Eddie, Laird, Cameron, Talia, Smith,McGovern and there is 11 already. PS. No wonder they are in the GF.
  17. I can't type properly as I am laughing so hard.
  18. You are allowed to admit you are wrong at least once, it is not too difficult. Stop changing the goalposts by bringing in new criteria. You made a statement, so stand by it. You also don't need to try and belittle my footy knowledge, inferring I know nothing about the game, it doesn't help your position or win an argument.
  19. Look at what you said. "If hes that bloody good why is he getting away ? Homesick..really !! So the guys mentally brittle ??? Yeah...lets add another one ffs" Both are using the homesick reason and both are getting away. So therefore Lever is mentally brittle. You never said anything about how many games they played, you just called him out because of "getting away, being homesick and therefore being mentally brittle".
  20. Ease up BB, bloke playing in the GF is getting away to us as well. Is he no good too?

Very different. Bernie is a better player and more versatile than Garland and has 2 good knees.
  22. What will make him a better star is to have a couple of quick mids running past for his handballs.
  23. Maybe just maybe Jack Watts has been ruined by this club with its poor standards and constant changes and now that we are getting it together he just needs to refocus. One thing we know for sure and that is that he has better skills than most of his team mates and is the best set shot for goal on our list. He also has the ability to set up play and deliver the ball accurately to team mates. Perhaps instead of throwing him out with the rubbish, we try and get him to fit into our plans and get the best out of him. This is the same bloke who was composed enough to kick the winning goal on the run against the Pies, on QB and then run down the other end, to grab a mark and save the game. He is also the same bloke who was thrown into the ruck and ran himself into the ground for us earlier this year. He has talent, lets try and get it used for our benefit.
  24. I lost mine in round 23.
