Haven't seen DL this fired up, but understandably so. I am so p-ssed off I actually don't want to watch any finals even including the GF. I just couldn't care less. Have even stopped watching 360 and AFL tonight.

Wow, 2nd best contested possession player in the AFL, one of the leading clearance players and more handballs than anyone in AFL history, 4th best tackler and 5th in disposals, all in his 2nd year and he cant crack the AA squad of 40. Players like Jonas, Roberton, Ross etc must be superstars of the game then.

I don't want to seem like a smart arse, but I for one was against letting Howe go and he only went because we virtually forced him out, didn't want Ben Kennedy and also wanted to keep Dunn for another year and let the contracted Garland go instead. The anger on here for Howe at the time was ridiculous, who I believe wanted to stay a Demon. Wow, Howe is in the AA squad, Dunn was serviceable, Kennedy will be gone and Garland was unlucky to do his knee. We got shafted again by Collingwood, like Dawes, like Harry etc. TheoX has a point.

In my opinion too. Salems disposal as usual was among our best couple. I am sure you confused him with Tyson or ANB who went at 58% and 47% respectively. Poor users of the ball.

You don't trade an unwanted player, better to have him as Casey co captain with Trenners.

Don't think Bernie and Jordie can play in same side anymore and because of his costly mistakes, Bernie is the one to go. Tough but if we are to improve changes must occur. We are far too slow. They make us slower.

Think you are confusing Salem, who may have had a couple of poor disposals early, with Tyson who turned over his first 5 possessions and ended up with 58% efficiency. Salem who ended with 92% efficiency and Watts are the only 2 players I trust with the ball in hand. Apology to Clarry who sometimes because he is so quick with his hands, delivers to players who aren't expecting it.

And we are. Consistently disappointing supporters.

Our club and its players continue to disappoint. That is the one constant.

Well, there we are, beat Pies and play first finals since 2006.

Yes, I will write to the club and suggest it.

Fairly simple aim this week, win and play finals.
  14. Good post.
  15. Well the rumours are starting, I suppose we are getting to that time of year. If you examine carefully the way Goodwin spoke about Watts in the after match this week, your rumour could have legs. I heard today that Kent and Frost are the players to Carlton, with the rest being the same as yours. Who knows?

Well we need to win and hope for the miracle suns win tonight, to round out the weekend .
  17. Was 23-6 at another.
  18. Would have thought a fair bit of water has to go under the bridge first: He has to leave Adelaide. He has to select us as his new club. We have to do a deal with the Crows.

A big win over the lions, with big losses by Dogs and Eagles, would make it a good AFL weekend. Bombers dropping the unloseable game against Suns would top it off nicely.
  20. Yeah Crows are really struggling.
  21. I was not a fan early this year, but he has improved, possibly due to becoming familiar with our style of play. He does have the ability to kick long on both feet and that makes him a little unpredictable to the opposition. Turning out a good get for us.

Think you will find it is dollars over his footy career and well paid work after it ends.
  23. I said in an earlier post that we are last in that category and was actually referring to our overall free kick tally.
