Looks like Gaff is no chance then.
  2. Well I would cop Etihad instead of Darwin. We have to put winning games first and money will follow. This game just stuffs us up and it is for more than 1 week.
  3. Neither could Ringo, but he was still the drummer for the greatest band in the world. Weid is developing and most good players don't necessarily rip the VFL apart, as it is played somewhat differently and with less skill in passing the ball etc. I think Weid will be the regular 3rd key forward next year.
  4. Or just open your eyes. I recall a couple of years ago many thought Oscar hopeless. Today he is our main key back.
  5. Neither would I. Weid is on target to be a good player for us.

Pies will not lose De Goey IMO. Pies will lose players to keep him and he will forego some cash, but IMO will not leave. He will sign a 2 year deal at less cash, say $800k per year, or a longer term one, if he is happy to forego the future offers that may come. Pies will try and pension Wells off and other players can be moved on as well. Hearing rumours about Moore going as well, but I think he will only go if they get another key forward. Hello Tom, even though the Tigers appear to be the leaders in his chase.
  7. Looks like Greg has made better use of bananas than Elvis did, with his fried banana sandwiches.
  8. Now we are talking, pardon the pun.
  9. Wow we butchered the ball on friday. Wonder if the bananas were off.
  10. Good boy.
  11. Done the way you show it, a rejig of the pathway over a short distance and the removal and replanting of some trees to line that rejigged pathway, would not see any interference to the park land at all. Surely it is better to have some community use of the area as an oval, than a car park where the ground can be damaged. You can still use the oval when the MFC is not training, yet chopped up ground from cars in winter is far harder to walk across. Plant a few more trees here and there and you have improved the park area. The new building would help deaden the train noise and improve the look of the tracks area, which is an eyesore. I would think the nearby residents would have an improved lifestyle and raised property values. A win/win. Now lets hear from the Greenies.

I wonder if they served biscuits or toast.

That sort of long term, big money contract, will probably succeed. I think he will stay an Eagle. He has driven his price and deal up and that was probably the aim of the exercise.
  15. I'm off to the new training oval.

    Think Urine.
  17. I will send a warning to the wineries in Margaret River.

Well I got the opposite info. I was told if he doesn't sign with us he won't be a Demon..
  19. Growing your own bananas is very therapeutic.
  20. You Trumped me.
  21. Langdon made a lot of mistakes yesterday. Don't think Freo will let him go. Gaff will cost a fortune and I am not as crazy over him as others on here. I know he racks up the stats. Would he improve us, possibly/probably? Wallis to me would be a great value get and would make our 22 ahead of say ANB, on his ear. I just reckon there are more Tim Kelly's out there.

If Malthouse hates Pert, then I am confident Pert is a good bloke. MM is a bitter, twisted and a selfish person from what I have heard. He had no need at all to comment about Pert, except out of a need for revenge. As Eddie said, they both don't like each other.

If true that makes the work of those in charge even better than I thought. Far easier to make money off a huge supporter base.

Surely we will have a daily picture of him in Dees gear, with a story about his activities, every day until October.
