  1. I would rather have Grinter on Greene.
  2. We got over 23000 in the death time slot, in bad weather and against the Grand Prix. I hardly saw a Giants fan there. They were all Dee’s fans, with most sitting undercover, which makes it look like less people. If it was the Dogs or Roos against the Giants, it would have been lucky to get 10000. Given better weather, I am sure we would have got over 30000. PS: Title in fairness should be changed to “Some Demon supporters are pathetic”.

Pretty sure we will accept the one week. Turner back and unfortunately Roo gives the ruck chop out.
  4. From memory he was a mid and forward in his junior football. We have tried to make him into a defender. I think he has been ok so far. To be fair, playing on Toby is no picnic.
  5. Dean Wallis punched Green in the throat. Snake Simmons was nearly paralyzed by a filthy front on hip and shoulder to his neck, at full pace from Michael Long, as Snake was bending down to pick up the ball. I was sitting about 15 meters from it and I thought he was dead. I met Long years later and told him it was a disgusting act and he agreed. A few other Dees were “accidentally “ hurt as well. Sheedy got another flag his way.
  6. So we had 10 players out, 9 of whom have played senior footy for us.
  7. We lost that game because GWS handled it better. That is it. Skill errors by us gave them many of their goals.
  8. Quite prophetic that on our Jim Stynes green day, we were beaten by two Green(e)s.
  9. Today’s new rule. Wait for player to leave the ground and get replacement on while game the is stopped.
  10. No and he has so far stopped any Taylor influence on the game..
  11. Toby Greene is the one to stop. Been involved in nearly every Giants goal.
  12. He had two goal assists that quarter.
  13. So no yellow in the signature?
  14. Does he use red and blue pens to sign?
  15. Lachie Jones would probably prefer not to join the Port huddle at quarter time.
  16. Five AFL debuts. One debut for us from another club.
  17. But it's not good seeing the "Cotton Ons" doing well.
  18. Yes saw that. Dempsey just dropped it and play on then Stengle throws it and play on and then 3rd or 4th free kick goal to Cats. This is as bad umpiring as you will see.
  19. Mrs Redleg after that disgraceful free and goal to Danger, just called the umpires cheats. Cox was not given a second and the ball was behind him between Danger’s legs. Commentators also too scared of losing their fat contracts to call what they are seeing. I told her that the umpires are at least consistent. Geelong has had the umpiring their way at that ground for 125 years.
  20. The “Cotton On” umpires are back with 5 frees to nothing for the “ I got a farm” Cats.
  21. I agree, I prefer monosyllabic utterances.
  22. Hawks are doing a fair bit of sniping. Back to the unsociable style that the Coach loves.
