I don’t think Viney had one positive possession, not one, he was actually a total liability. Clarry wasn’t too much better. Tracc again was poor with his disposal but slightly better than the other two.

Today’s result will be interesting. A hope for a revival or possibly season over. Membership numbers could be seriously affected too.

Since 2021 I would guess we have kicked far more behinds than goals and far more behinds than our opponents. We know it cost us probably 3 of our 4 lost finals since 2021.

Don’t think we should categorize Kentfield yet, as he hasn’t been AFL match fit since he arrived. This year may not be enough either, as he started so far behind. He is a big boy and if he can play enough VFL and gets match fit, we will be able to evaluate him then. Adams, Sesto and Jeffo are starting to look ok now in their 3rd year with us.

Great players are great players and they find a way until they physically and mentally can’t.

Looked at the two sides tonight. Can anyone point out since our flag in 2021 a Rankine, Dawson, Keays, Cumming, Keane, Peatling, Cameron, Smith, Stengle, Danger or Henry etc we have recruited from other teams. I will add Nibbler as he has set up 5 goals in the first half. That seems to be a big issue for us, as Sharp is the only one I can see in our side from another club post 2021 and once again he is not the quality of the players named above and they are only two of our opposition clubs.

The luck in footy. Lever goes out for 2 months, for what we thought was a 1 week ankle injury. Stewart returns against us, to control the Cotton Ons backline and then pulls out tonight sick.

That's true, but you have to at least try and have some selection integrity. We have players in our forward line who are in terrible form. He kicked 5-2, missed two sitters and dropped a mark 20 out straight in front so should have kicked 8. We went after Wade Dersen last year, who will be 24 in two months, is 7 cms shorter then Fullarton and hasn't played a single AFL game yet.
