The AFL prides itself on integrity and officiating games is probably one of, if not the most important aspect of that integrity. We all know everyone makes mistakes, but tonight wasn’t about mistakes, it was about blatant inconsistent officiating and I will be gracious and say it was probably caused by trying to appease a fanatical crowd. If that happens regularly, the game is in trouble. If you asked an ex umpire to review that performance, I am convinced he would mark it poorly. On the commentary, barracking for one side is just so pathetic. Well done boys, you overcame some big hurdles. Steven May, just WOW.

I think fresh legs and from a first gamer would have added a bit more run at the end when we looked pretty tired.

He is not a Pie, so gone. It didn't end a star's career. It didn't concuss. It didn't injure. It was light impact. It won't matter.

No it was explicable. Incompetent, simply umpiring to the crowd. The rules went out the window and it was purely appease the crowd. TBH that umpiring display was shameful. Gather round, home side winless and being talked up by everyone from the Premier and Dillon down and packed crowd of Crows fans. No surprises there.

No force or impact or injury. He is not a Pies player and will get suspended.
-
Think it was a Cats player.
-
Crows made 5 changes I believe, after playing off a 6 day break. While their changes might be on form, with of course 2 being injured, they will clearly have fresher players and I hope it isn't a tight finish.
-
The only fresh legs are on a bloke with 2 cracked ribs and a hurt vertebrae. Very strange given 5 day break, but I am not in the FD.
-
And that's why we shouldn't play him.
-
I can't believe it.

Did you play VFL Picket?

I don’t see Tom going forward now he has slotted in down back, BUT that is obviously a possibility. I am just unsure who Goody has less faith in now, Tommo or Schache.
-
I thought someone said he was in Adelaide training.

Breust twice cost goals with selfishness. Lewis on his own in the goal square twice ignored. Lewis would be furious. Cats then banged on 4 quick ones.
-
That is possible too.

BBB may be rested for Schache, as no point in destroying what's left of his knee, with a 5 day break. Crows are not strong in key backs, so Schache could go ok. Given the training reports of Chin looking upset, it could be Kolt in for his first. I think Woey will get a full game, as he was sub and is fresh from Saturday.

Any substance to the reasons they are all out?

Found this hilarious. Tom Morris on the Furnace on Channel 9 said he wouldn’t do the Lions Las Vegas trip story as there is no proof it has affected their performance. Seriously, when we look back at his reporting. The Dees have been copping it in the media for 2.5 years, with no proof anything said has hurt our performances.
-
Lions have some off field issues, no wins. Swans’ issue this week, they lose. Despite continuing controversy, Dees winning. They say good culture drives success. Just saying.

We will need a ready made replacement as well as a high draft pick. If the offer of a long $1m a year or more contract is true, then given he is still contracted, the Crows know that justifies the price they will have to pay..

Well done Ooze. Lynch may have a serious injury, as he wasn’t smiling after they won and he limped back onto the ground. Just said hammy.
-
Yes noticed that. Also noticed Rioli give him a clip in a drive by, when Petty was on the ground trying to get up.

Told ya about Jeffo. Had a rare off day with his accuracy but marked at will. With JVR he is being made to ruck at 193 cms which is pretty hard for starters and then when he is forward, the ball is again being kicked high to a pack, hence his high flying miracle attempts. When he is given some decent passes, combined with his accuracy at goal kicking, he will produce some very good performances.
