  1. The Crows have lost Hartigan and might need to replace him.
  2. I would imagine any club getting a player from another club has to offer 2-3 years at least. So the period is not the problem. If it is the $700k, we could possibly pay $100k of that this year and maybe the next. Surely you would be offering a big key forward like Tom, $500-$600k a year, if you wanted him to join your club. The real question might be do other clubs want him anyway. If not, we get him fit and try and get the best out of him and look at moving on a couple of fringe players, like AVB and ANB, to save cap room. Not sure what Mitch Brown's position is, but if Tom stays he could be at risk. Brown actually played well enough to get another year with us. The cap is affecting a lot of players this year, as deals are getting harder to do, even though with list sizes smaller say by 2 next year, unless the cap has been reduced, there should be a bit more to spread around. This could be a period of adjustment on contracts coming up.

It is actually worse. His last 3 years are reported at well over $1m each year. That could be about $1.1m - $1.2m a year, for 3 last years of his contract at age 30-32. WOW! That is mind blowing.
  4. Petty is our best one grab marking key forward atm and a future regular best 22 player. Big, strong, young and talented, why on earth would we even consider moving him on.

The $100k offered each year by the Pies, is totally insignificant. If that is all they will pay, he is staying put.
  6. What about a certain maybe, or a probable possibility.
  7. Well I have info which I canโ€™t share, but I could be wrong about that.
  8. Now reported in the Hun.
  9. Clearly this is the start of another deal.
  10. What did he say?
  11. Not sure thatโ€™s true.
  12. You did it again, we are in awe.
  13. See ETโ€™s post after yours. I am not up to it ET is the King with Dr. Evil the Prince.
  14. McKernan a Saint done. Sorry, I feel like ET the trade news breaker, deal was already announced.
  15. Yes, he is 8 months older than the last post.
  16. Wow, what a post Pinball. Most interesting to me, is the fact that the same clubs are bidding on nearly every available player, with seemingly no problem with their salary caps. These clubs have also recruited heavily last year, obviously offering lucrative contracts to get their new players. How do they have so much cap room?
  17. No way, Dodoro will offer pick 92.
  18. Didnโ€™t like playing ruck.
  19. Leave it to the experts, you may be surprised at the outcome.
  20. Making room for Cameron.
  21. Agreed and kept it quiet until it happens.
  22. Am waiting for the following post. "Trade week has been open for over 2 hours and we haven't got anyone yet. Mahoney should to be sacked."
  23. You are correct, I just listed players without checking rookie status. My figures may then be modified, if other players don't go, but we will then have more numbers to fill, albeit rookie spots.
  24. He is not quick and a poor shot for goal, just saying.
  25. I am shocked that a club is declaring it will play hardball on trading two of its players away. Oh wait, no I am not, itโ€™s Bombers on Saad and Fantasia. Dodoro the most hated list manager in the game is at it again.
