Pity.

Geelong’s continued assistance from state, federal, and local govt
Thanks. Apparently Dan made the decision on his own and neither he nor anyone else in the Government can recall anything about it. Also Unified Security have been paid $1m to deliver the cheque and they are doing it through Uber.

And if we said to North, we will get you Stephensen for Brown and then force Pies to take a lower 2nd round pick, as they just have to salary dump, it gets better.

Yes!

Rumour only file ...
As I said when Treloar move was mooted. Unless Pies paid at least $300k each year for the 5 years of the contract he was staying. Looks like when Dunkley goes he comes in. Pies will still need to do a bit of clearing so guess Stephenson will be a Roo today and HOPEFULLY Phillips a Demon.

Good to see that you have woken from your drunken stupour and crawled upstairs, from your dungeon wine cellar.

They were spooked by the Papley result in moving picks and couldn't afford to not get Saad for their fans.

Don't think he has won a Coleman. Few seconds and thirds.

Saad was traded for Bombers 2018 2nd round pick in Oct 2017. That pick would have been about 26 and then pushed back so probably ending up about 30-32.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Which BB won't help. Interesting a side like Carlton which is probably a quicker side than us, said they needed more speed and together with the Saints, have brought in a number of quicker players over the last 2 years.

Might only take a phone call with a new offer and expression of admiration for him and a reborn future at his club.

Rumour only file ...
Hope he doesn’t try and turn BB around.

Rumour only file ...
Not a rumour but a feeling, that we must have more targets than just BB. With teams that have improved like Saints and Blues grabbing everyone in sight, it would be interesting if we have only targeted one player. If we get only BB and he doesn’t perform, it won’t be a great trade period for us. If he does, then it could be a very good one. I am still hopeful of Phillips, the Pies’ one, to help fix a wing and also another pick upgrade.

Back then without NGA’s, about 25-30. Didn’t Bombers pay about that?

Was having a chuckle to myself, as guys on Fox Footy were gushing over Saad and his trade for pick 8 today, as I remembered pushing him hard on DL, when he was rumoured to be unhappy at Suns and plenty on here knocked him completely.

He is 32.

That won’t happen. BB will be with us next year. I would be confident JH has plans for certain picks and will get his deals done, at least those with us getting something or someone. That might not be the case, where we are trading players out.

Trade Targets
My gut feel is that IF we are after Phillips and Pies do deals on Treloar, Stephenson and maybe Cox, they will be in a position to keep Phillips, or play hardball for a trade. SO. if we want him, we might have to do a deal now, or pass, unless of course they want Tom.

TMac on the Trade Table?
Didn't Tom tour their facilities? They could take both Macs to add key depth at both ends of the ground. Cameron, Williams, Langdon, Hately, Corr and Caldwell leaving plus delisted players and maybe Mummy retiring, frees up a hell of a lot of cap room.

Wonder if that sparks interest in Tom.

Trade Targets
I would prefer a backup ruckman rookied.

Trade Targets
I see our priorities as another winger, quick half back and small forward. Depending on whether we move on a few more players on medium salary, or Tom on larger salary or both, will determine who we bring in. Also, whether we think Bedford can cover the extra small forward role and Hunt/Baker can cover the other two roles. I would be happy to rookie a spare ruckman as insurance.
