Loved the way Tracc and then Fritta in their post match interviews emphasised “team” and playing like one. It is clearly their theme this year and the results are coming as a result of it.

You get weeks for causing a concussion with a bump. What do you get for an intentional or reckless swinging arm to the head, which breaks a player’s eye socket? Also what if the player has form for this type of incident? My guess nothing to see here.

How embarrassed and dumb would you feel to have started this thread or even to have agreed with it. Some are so quick to write players off.

It was actually a free to Jetta against Menegola but Jetta then slung him. Reversed free. Then Gus bumped Selduck after he disposed.
-
I repeat.

Yes Cam Guthrie is the one to stop even more than Selwood. I hope they have planned for Hawkins rucking in the forward line, he is very dangerous there.

Parfitt out.
-
Yes and then adding that we haven't even beaten any of the AFLW teams either

Good news for one of my favourites. "MELBOURNE rookie and surprise free agent James Jordon is poised to clinch a new deal with the Demons just four months after being delisted by the club. "

That is one of the most disgusting posts I have seen on this site. I would ban myself for a month if I were you. -

And Sloane and Shuey etc. -
Higgins hammy. Hoping 29 and 26 for Cats do theirs.

We agree.

Yes Hunt who was always a keeper for me, played his best game so far this year. His run from the half back line will be important this year.
-
My whipping boy ANB has played well so far this year and good on him and I hope it continues for him and us.

They still have 21 playing so one down.
-
Agree. Play him out of the goal square and move our other forwards away to create space.

No, just knocking those that do mate. -
It is actually bouncing to them off every mis kick. We had 3 blokes running at the ball and it bounced through them and that was probably the 20th time so far. Keep at it, as we outplayed them that quarter and hopeful we get the run of the bouncing ball .

We have Cats v Lions umpires. No surprise AFL live child getting a good run.

Jones and Jetta are clearly in their last year. Hibberd and Melksham are not loyal veterans. Not sure what you are in about. What is your suggestion? -

I am not writing it off, I am merely hoping with all my might that they both stay. Replacing Jones, Jetta and Hibberd and others with youngsters, will be a saving and Melk could do a deal if he wanted to retire early. Tracc and Clarry are not on nothing at the moment, so we are only finding the increase, not the whole salary. The 4 players I named would have to be on $1.2m -$1.5m in total and if 4 youngsters were brought in, that would have to be nearly $1m saved. If TMac and Gus were traded/left/whatever, how much extra would that leave us? I am just saying I don't think we will lose the boys over money. If it is another reason, there may be more to worry about. Not sure most other club's players like the idea of a new player coming for money and affecting their salaries. -
Or Logue, Pearce, Hambling, Lobb, Banfield, Hill and others.

TMac will be out of contract end of 22, probably Gus too if both are still with us. Jetta and Jones gone this year possibly with Melksham, Hibberd and others. We will have salary cap room. Don’t think that will be the problem, even if Clarry gets a pay rise. Luckily both players seem to love their team mates, the coach and the club. Hopefully both re sign with us and have lots of success as Dees in the next few years.
