In that last 50 seconds of the 3rd quarter, we saw 2 of the best handballs ever by Demons that led to goals. Viney falling over, handballs under enormous pressure to Tracc and the other, Jacko on the run, puts it in front of Clarry, running at full pace, who doesn’t need to break stride, for a brilliant goal on the run. I will never forget those 2 handballs which in a big way helped win us a flag.

Not that it matters that much, but this award has to be meaningless, considering that some players have more games to play in. MacRae beat Tracc by 2 votes after playing in 4 games, compared to Tracc’s 3 games. Surely you would weight the votes, if you wanted the award to stand for something.

He was great last night and if you look at most of the goals he was involved. His score assists must have been enormous. Tap ons, handballs, kicks off the ground to advantage, blocks etc, he started a lot of those stoppage attacks.
