  1. First thing we need to do is win the next 3 to finish top 4. Lions could win all 4 and also Swans.
  2. Our game the last few weeks has become : See ball, Get ball: Miss goals: Turnover ball.
  3. Hard to disagree with any of that. Think you were generous with the umpiring. I would bring in Bedford for ANB. I said Weid for Jackson as he needed a rest. Don’t think he has taken a mark in weeks. I think Hibberd is done.
  4. Our skills are not great and when you play a side that are highly skilled it shows. Missing easy goals every week is becoming very costly. Sh-t umpiring doesn’t help.
  5. No they didn’t, but in close games getting a ride like this lifts the team and deflates the victim. Dogs certainly handling the ball better. Our kicking for goal has cost us again. Dominated most of that quarter for no reward.
  6. 14-4 for a game like this is not favouring it is gifting a game.
  7. I was wrong I said umpires would favour Dogs, didn’t know they would give them the game. 14-4 and a wrong free kick goal. What a bloody joke.

And in 20 seconds into the last the GC Captain kicks it to a Lion in their goal square. Unbelievable. Really inspiring.

No, we will be pinged relentlessly in a millisecond, while the Digs will throw the ball and hold it while tackled with impugnity. Why should anything change. The GC have been slaughtered in the 3rd quarter by the umpires and their pathetic disposal. It is beyond belief how bad it has been this quarter. They need one quarter like their first 2 and they can still win.

Media saying we can’t play them next week because of COVID quarantine issues. They could get stronger with the return of Holman and Ellis later in the year. Anyway we have to beat them whenever we play, if we want to end up top 2.

I really thought they would chase Clarko hard, but he has said so many times that he is not leaving, that I now wonder if it is Ross Lyon.

Are they tanking to get a bottom pick for Cerra? Petrevski Seton wanted by Dockers and together with a high pick and something else, might get a deal done. PS: I know players don’t tank.

Just saw 2 players run within a couple of metres of the player with the mark and then a player swung 360 with the ball and then hold it, while he booked an uber and guess what, play on, nothing to see here. I think back to Gawn’s 50 penalty last week, which cost a goal, when he was about 30 metres from the player with the mark and was following his man and the Tracc holding the ball, after a 1 second tackle on him. I have loved the consistency of umpiring this season.
  14. Take our opportunities will be a good start.

    He won’t be leaving Swans.
  16. Well maybe one thing. They will get the best of the umpiring.
  17. Well we can agree on that.
  18. I was wondering why they wouldn't give him a freshen up and play Weid, who can ruck and play forward.
  19. Watch a 15-5 pop up for them even in the wet.
  20. How many shots at goal did you miss?

If the Maynard move to us happens, a few will be let go.
  22. TBH I can't understand what Dermie is on about. I looked back at the Fritta "small bump" on Grainger-Barass and there is nothing to see. If he king hit someone, like Dermie did to plenty of opponents, I would understand, but this is a nothing small bump. Very strange.

Hawks game wouldn't have helped Hibberd, he was terrible. He has played well in other games though. Pretty sure he will get another year. Hore plays a bit taller and Lockhart is a little more versatile, but obviously can't crack the team atm. A few will go no doubt. I can see Bowey as our Caleb Daniel and I am keen on Deakyn Smith, who is more like Salem, but with extra aggression. Don't know about Declase and Turner looks more a key back. Petty doing ok and Tomlinson to return, so a good hbf could be looked at but we do have options.
  24. I never have one with any of our games.
