  1. Due process. As long as it takes.
  2. Let him play - Tommy Mac will towel him up!
  3. Well observed - these are the players that will ignite this club. Desperate, hungry young men that are prepared to work hard and really want to play AFL footy.
  4. I reckon the coach IS the club. Look at the monstrous presence of a Sheedy, or a Malthouse and now, the Scotts and a Buckley. They alone set the tone, the culture, the respect and demand unity. Bails came from a very low skills base.
  5. WYL, sorry but I'm going to open that festering wound again. Bailey would have had a say in recruiting all of our 60 pound weaklings who have spent the last four years getting sand kicked in their collective faces. DB had no idea what to do under any sort of pressure.
  6. Towards the end, Jimmy (in his book) doubted that Bailey had the skill, game plan or structure to turn this outfit into hardened AFL footballers. He got 'too close' to the players.
  7. Yes! I nearly fell out of my chair! I've never seen it - bloody hell, we're being coached. To quote RR.....FMD.
  8. I know one player who wants to come to this club.....Jack Viney. You watch Jack, Jones, Clark, Howe, Tommy Mac, Grimes, Trengove lift the fitness intensity. There'll be no cancelling of time trials with these blokes leading.
  9. I reckon he'll be okay. Good mates with Blease. Well liked around the club and that builds culture and connectedness. Oh, and he loves to compete, not like some others.
  10. And I promise to do the team thing and block for him.......
  11. PM - do yourself a favour and leave it there. The 2nd half was.....meek. Turnovers, hand balling to a teammate three feet away, you-know-who tiptoeing to contests, backing out of contests, Jones getting mauled with NOT ONE player showing the discipline to block for him, McKenzie taking over the mantle of Moloney's fingerpointing and directing traffic and and....I'll stop there. The kids have just cooked me breakfast - I'll focus on that. Oh, yes...I agree that Lyon is a [censored]...mmmm eggs.
  12. From the bottom up. Neeld, sharpen that red pen and start crossing out.
  13. Likewise - and I've been asking old dee and WYL to cheer up and tough it through....
  14. The season was a sad series of practice matches. Neeld has a massive job to do - I'm worried the club will not survive this rebuild.
  15. Watts has NEVER had the appetite to compete - sadly, some are seeing this for the first time. Don't really understand all the fuss really....oh yeah, Nik Nat.
  16. Geelong stand alone as the template for success. IF Swans go out in straight sets (big chance) does it strengthen the argument that recycled players don't win you flags? 12 of their 18 out there today were from other clubs. Geelong's have come through the draft and stayed together.
  17. Just bumped this up after I found out that they beat the Swannies... What now Roosy? Nervous? Out in straight sets? I'd love to see that. Ha! Lucky Kirky is in the media - good to see Mummy and Goodesy not playing well.
  18. Surely agents don't work in a silo? Surely they communicate with their clients?
  19. Leigh Matthews is gone. This year his pathetic comments and inane commentary have media bosses talking. Who can forget these beauties: 'Hudson will be a better recruit than Clark.' 'He's doing some hard running and getting plenty of kicks...' *crickets*
  20. Me too - having said that, Martin is a wild boy and has the potential to really let the Tigers down.
  21. BP will be out of a job soon. Karma's a [censored].
  22. This list is very poor. Freo have a better list. Neeld has to start bottom up.....he's a young man with plenty of energy.
