Twice Morton has tried to spoil and half hearted them both. He needs to put on 10 kgs and go hard at it.
-
Don't go overboard yet my man. Lets see how they run the game out... Jetta good pick up in the middle... looking for someone by hand.. turn over... Docks having shot on goal. Goal Healy riding us for terrible skills. They are giving Bennell a touch up according to Healy and Jacko.

47, had a kick coming out of defence mid way through qtr. Nothing on. Rivers was standing in between 3 Dockers pointing to a spot in front of him, Strauss kicked it to Rivers while he was stationary.. turn over...

Hahah I have my helmet on already!!! Look very good, his pace and ability to follow up to the next contest and go again also a highlight. I've really enjoyed watching footy this weekend, went to Saints vs Pies Friday night with some mates, watch Swans vs Blues and North v Cats today. I am not enjoying this just yet.

Scully great hands in close along the wing. Shocking free kick against him for holding it. Dees make turn over... Rivers running on to it.... point! 1st is done. 28 vs 2 points Freo up.
-
Another turn over coming out of defence, turn over.... GOAL. Our skills let us down but at the same time (it is hard to see up the ground on TV) it seems like there is just nothing up the ground for the defenders to kick too. 28 to 1 point 1min to go in 1st.

Defenders are doing ok but we are going backwards to try and run through the back half but we end up just turning it over as there looks like very little movement up the ground. Again skills under pressure are so frustrating. Finally got some run, McDonald (Brissie) handballed to Morton who was smashed as soon as he touched the ball, turn over goal!!!

far far far with k k k on the end!! Twice Fitzy was on the lead but dropped it as the sun was in his eyes. Two 50's we;ve given away in 2 mins. 2 goals 2 Docks to 1 point Dees...........
-
Alex Silvani is plaing well for the Docks.
-
We currently look a step slower than the Docks.
-
Started slowly... Skills from Dees average... Scully and Trenners 1st touches.
-
North looked really good. The Saints pressure pressure pressure game plan. Warren had a good game considering in the 3rd he was off the ground with a knock the the "midsection" spewing. Love watching footy at Etihad, and they will be commencing a resurfacing ground as of tonight if I read correctly.

My stupid frigging 1's footy coach has scheduled a practice match for the 24th. I coach the 2nds and I will still be at the G for kick off. Somethings are more important!

13!!!!! Jako, Yze, McKenzie!!!

Yea agree totally. I hate it that we are not where they are at... We are on our way though.
-
Thats the one!!!

Disappointing not to see Tappy for the majority of the season but it is a great opportunity for Jordie. Have been high on him since I first saw him play for Casey early last season. Just works himself ragged to get the pill out then works hard to get to the next contest.

Sounds like a club I know and love.... I'll wait until tomorrow and the rest of the year to pop some corks on that.
-
Quote from Robert Walls: "Just looking at Brock Mclean he is exhausted." 15 mins to go in last qtr with 4 handballs....
-
...we could have taken him last year on the recommendation of Neville Jetta's mum...

'87? PS wasn't that horrible: merger fiasco of 1996 Wiki link MFC Hawks Negotiations The negotiations advanced considerably, and settled on a number of key aspects of the proposed team. Speculation Key points agreed upon during negotiations prior to the official announcement included that: The new team's name would be "Melbourne" and would use Hawthorn's "Hawks" nickname The new team's jumper would resemble Melbourne's jumper, except feature a yellow 'v' and a yellow hawk The amalgamated team would use Melbourne's red and blue with Hawthorn's yellow A version of Hawthorn's Hawk would be the new team's logo New club Best and Fairest award to be known as the Crimmins-Truscott Trophy [edit] Proposed Club Song The proposed club song was an amalgamation of the Melbourne and Hawthorn football theme songs. The tune was to the tune of a Grand Old Flag, with the second last and third last lines being sung in the the tune of Yankee Doodle Dandy. We're the Melbourne Hawks We're the high-flying Hawks We're the mighty Melbourne Hawks We play each game and we play to win Watch us, we play with a grin Every heart beats true, for the gold red and blue As we sing this song to you One for all and all for one Two will make you stronger Keep your eye on the mighty Melbourne Hawks

Because he was a Dee's player, high draft pick, hard at it, in and under. Unfortunately as some have mentioned it seems (always a caveat) the game might (another one as it is NAB cup) have passed him by with the pace needed for the "modern" game.

hahah didn't he, it was Goodes but still he looked F'd!!! Same old Macca, can run and run and run around the tan but on game day he looks like the titanic working it's way around a 'berg 2 goals in 5 mins in 3rd term........ But it is a bit tough to take a relatives recommendation on the next big thing...

I agree he looked like a fool not shaking, as I said before one of the fairest, straight ahead, best out of himself players of era's hands in a practice match. I'm not trying to be "disrepectful" but disrespect is one of the biggest [censored] statements sports people throw around these days. It seems to flow from the US sports were disrespect is high on everyones agenda and we've picked it up. Jabba Jaw would like to say Jabba Jaw
