In instances we have hangon007. The idea for Demon Heartland originated on this forum. So yes sometimes something worth while does evolve but only when the club is in desperate need haha.

It wouldn't matter what the game plan is or plan B, our skills are not up to implementing a tunnel ball race let alone hitting a target by hand or foot on a footy field. The lack of skills shown has to fall onto the coaches no question but the older players we have are basically no good besides the like of Green, Davey and glimpses from Sylvia. The rest need 40-50 games in them to start a winning run. 40 games = 2.3 years away... we have a long long long long way to go before we see a long progresion of winning footy but I'd like to see improvement. It certainly seems like it won't come from some of the senior guys which makes things tough for us. Hopefully next year they look at some of these older rookies that seem to be floating around especially after seeing the likes of Barlow at Freo. Some older harder bodies and we can get rid of some of the older deadwood we do have.

Warnock is probably 2 years ahead of our "other" ruckman who are behind Jamar. The Russian is our stand out and we fall away dramatically from there but with signs of "upsides" for Spence and hopefully Gawn. As to the sharing of facilities, I think it would be nothing but beneficial to share with a professional "winning" outfit anf culture like the Storm. Every time you hear a Storm player leave they have nothing but the highest praise for the club and it's structure. Hopefully the Dees can take some of that on board especially there weight's training and tackling drills!!

We start 3-4 goals behind every week.... ... It's going to be a long year! harf harf harf Interesting to see. The amount of work involved in turning around/keeping a football club viable/relevant off the field and on it is just immense! They really do an amazing job. Here is looking forward to seeing it come to fruition and the cycle from heritage to legacy repeating itself a couple of times over my life cycle.

Canadian Club for mine, unfortunately it is only with coke not dry ginger at the footy. At this stage will not be attending fluff it but trying to get out of an obligation.

Skills need to improve, does all the hard work as the OP said "knows when to go at the contest and loose ball", runs through the lines and then tends to fluff it all up with poor skills causing turn overs = scoring opportunites for the opposition. I do enjoy watching him tear through the back half though.

Could care less where he plays, just looking forward to seeing the likes of he and Wonna back on the park and looking to see some further improvement.

Hhhmmmm and yet he is not listed in your favourite players... Rivers was brilliant earning the Rising Star. Injuries obviously set him a long way back. His pace and lack of run out of defence are the only concern's for mine. He is one of the best readers of play in the game. I am really hoping to see big few years from him.

That is why we still have the likes of Miller on the list and Newton on the rookie so we can give development time to the likes of Watts and Jurrah. The MFC has been very deliberate about how it approaches player recuiting and development over the last 2 seasons I doubt they would change it over 1 injury...

I don't think Fitzy has had a stat in the last two games he has played... Mid year maybe.. if he has progressed but until then Newton, no matter how average he is has Fitzy covered.

Is there a "cut off" time to elevate? Or can you elevate someone off the rookie at any stafe of the season? I seem to recall you could only do it before rnd 1 and there was a mid season option. Jordie would be the 1st choice, Spencer 2nd then ennie meenie minny moe...

Good news indeed. But lets not get too carried away he will need time to get a feel for the game again and he still is young.

You drove to see the game??!! Amazing effort J-Riv. Thanks for the update. From what you saw where did Dunn line up? I know Bails like everyone to be versatile and play virtually anywhere on the field but did he line up forward at any stage or was he tagging like he spent last season?
